There are enough ugly things in the world that work perfectly well…
Your ice bath doesn’t need to be one of them.

Our design philosophy at Monk is “make wellness extraordinary”. We believe the things that make you feel amazing should make your space look amazing too.

Cocoon is an ice bath you won’t want to hide.

Well, that’s our marketing done for today 👀

We’re thrilled that has got Cocoon.

Even better: if you’ve been thinking about owning one of the final Cocoons but want to actually see it & experience it before making the leap, you can…

We’re opening up a very small number of spaces for sauna & plunge sessions at Putney Recovery Rooms with the Monk team.

No sales presentation. Just sauna, cold, good people, and the chance to ask us anything.

If you’re genuinely considering Cocoon and would like to join us, DM us and we’ll send you the details!

4.5 years of building, testing, tweaking, breaking things and starting again.

All to get here.

Cocoon is built for people carrying too much. The stressed. The overworked. The ambitious. The endlessly juggling.

Two minutes to switch everything else off.

(Our first run has nearly sold out - final units at discovermonk.com 🧊)

Your cells love the cold (science just proved it) 🧬

Advanced Biology published a study that suggests cold exposure:

🧹 Cleans out damaged cells (autophagy)
🛡️ Protects healthy ones from stress (reduced apoptosis)
🔥 Reduces inflammation

Cold is the new clean, people ✌🏽

When you’ve put blood, sweat and tears into bringing it to life, there’s only one thing left to do: let someone else judge it 📣

The Standard was testing and comparing some of the best ice baths on the market – from entry-level inflatables to premium systems. We wanted Cocoon judged alongside them.

Their verdict?

“Cocoon is in a league of its own.”

They named it the Best Luxury Ice Bath, praising everything from its design and contrast therapy to the guided app experience.

Women deserve better than clickbait headlines.

Especially when we’re discussing a tool that can meaningfully improve their mental, physical, and emotional health.

Saying “ice baths are bad for women” is like saying “don’t drink coffee because it causes insomnia.”

A double espresso at 10pm? Probably not a great idea. A coffee in the morning? Very different.

👉🏽 Dose, timing & context matter

As a female-founded company, we’re proud that so many of our customers are women. We’ve seen first-hand how transformative cold can be when it’s used intelligently.

Resilience isn’t never feeling stressed, it’s teaching your body how to recover from it.
