Malasana - what a lovely deep squat. 🥰 In this version, with arms stretched overhead. And for me always a little bit of a struggle.

Some poses just refuse to become easy (for me anyway).

For me, this is one of them. The moment the arms go up, the whole shape seems to have an opinion. 😂

So I keep coming back.

Not to conquer it or to make it look perfect.

Just to breathe, make a little more space, and see what’s possible today.

Because sometimes the poses we find hardest are the ones that teach us the most.

And yes, I’m still working on getting those arms up - using the wonderful prop called a yoga strap 😅💕😉

Ardha Kakasana or Side Crow. 🐦‍⬛💫

This one is less about muscling your way up and more about finding the right shape.

The magic happens when you stop trying to throw your legs into the air and start creating enough space for them to float.

Strong arms, light feet, a little bit of twist. And suddenly you’re flying sideways.

Hips high. Feet high. Breathe. 🤸🏽‍♀️🌬️🍃💕

Tripod Headstand + Straddle Legs. 🤸🏾‍♀️🌷

When the legs finally float up and open? Pure yoga joy. 😄

I love playing with this variation because it asks me to slow down, trust my body and find lightness in the upside-down.

Please set up a strong foundation, and practice mindfully if you’re trying this today ❤️😬

Parighasana or Gate Pose. 🌼💚

Simple shape.

Loads of possibilities.

Today I’m taking my time and enjoying the exploration. Who is with me? 😊💫🙌🏽

Trikonasana is an aesthetically delightful pose. 💫🌷

Some days, it feels open and effortless.

Other days, it asks for patience, softness, and a little less striving. It’s a great reminder to meet ourselves where we are and honour the journey that gets us there.

Where in your life could you show a little more compassion today? 💕😊

Summer is still here, but we can feel it beginning to change. ☀️🍂

The days are getting shorter, routines return, and our attention shifts to what’s next.

Amid the hurry to arrive, yoga reminds us to notice the shifts, pauses and transitions along the way. 🧘🏽‍♀️💕

This has been on my mind a lot lately, and I wrote about it in my latest blog post.

Give yourself the freedom to move and follow what your body needs today. 🙃🤸🏽‍♀️❤️

Just move, breathe, explore.

No need for perfection, you can meet yourself exactly where you are. 🌹

What an inversion class really looks like… 🤸🏽‍♀️☺️✨

Not every handstand is Insta-perfect.

Not every forearm stand lasts more than 2 seconds.

There are crooked legs.

Bent elbows.

Feet that almost find the sky.

And plenty of “Nope… let’s try again.” 😅

Progress doesn’t always look pretty. What really counts is showing up day after day. 😉🩵🌼

Dharma Kapotasana is a deep opening pose that works wonders for hips, heart, and spine. ☺️✨🌸

There’s something beautifully expansive about this pose. The body reaches in different directions, yet the practice is to stay connected to the breath and find a sense of ease within the intensity.

Not forcing. Not rushing. Just creating space for possibility. 💫💕🌷
