💚 A huge thank you to The F.I.T Partnership!

Last Thursday evening, The Fit Partnership hosted a brilliant event for Melp Foundation in recognition of World Mental Health Day, bringing together some incredible people for an important conversation around women in sport, mental health, and the work still to be done to drive meaningful change.

It was such a fantastic evening, with brilliant conversations, valuable insights and an amazing response from everyone who attended.

A special thank you to our incredible panel!

Thank you all for giving your time, sharing your expertise, experiences and perspectives, and contributing so much to the conversation. We are hugely grateful for your involvement.

And of course, a massive thank you to The Fit Partnership for putting together such a brilliant event, creating a welcoming space for these important discussions and supporting the work of Melp Foundation.

💚 Together, we can keep pushing for positive change in women's sport and mental health.

Mental Health Miles is BACK for 2027! 🏃♀️🌲💚

Following our first Mental Health Miles event in 2026, we’re doing it all again — this time in the beautiful surroundings of Alice Holt Forest, Farnham, on Sunday 31 January 2027.

Mental Health Miles is about so much more than running.

It’s about starting the year with something positive to work towards. Getting outside. Moving your body. Supporting your mental wellbeing. Spending time with people you love. Taking on a challenge you perhaps didn’t think you could do.

And, at the same time, helping us support the mental health of others.

Choose your challenge:

🏃 1K Fun Run — £7.50
🏃 5K Fun Run — £16.50
🏃 10K Run — £21.50

You can walk it, jog it, run it or race it — this event really is for everyone.

🏅 Every finisher receives a Mental Health Miles medal, and official event T-shirts are available separately for £10.50.

All proceeds support the work of Melp Foundation, helping us continue providing free mental health education, resources and support to schools, colleges, communities and women’s grassroots sports teams.

So grab your friends, bring the family, get your work team together or come along by yourself and join us.

Run for your mental health. Run for someone else’s. 💚

📅 Sunday 31 January 2027

📈💚 The best wellbeing strategies are not reactive. They are preventative.

CIPD’s 2025 research found that mental ill health is the top cause of long-term sickness absence, while 64% of organisations reported stress-related absence in the last year. It also found that heavy workloads are the leading cause of stress-related absence, yet only half of organisations taking steps to reduce workplace stress believe those efforts are effective. ()

That tells us something important:
many employers know there is a problem, but they still need a solution that is practical, engaging and works in the real world. Buyers are looking for support that improves culture, helps managers, supports retention, reduces absence and shows employees that their wellbeing genuinely matters. ()

That’s where Melp Co comes in. We support organisations with preventative mental health and wellbeing solutions designed to help employees earlier, not just when they hit crisis point. Education, training, tools, ongoing support and a more joined-up approach — because healthier teams perform better. ✨ ()

💚 WEAR GREEN, BE SEEN – JOIN THE MOVEMENT 🌍

This World Mental Health Day (October 10th), we’re asking one simple thing…
👉 Wear green. Start conversations. Show support.

Mental health affects all of us—and together, we can make it visible, talked about, and supported.

Here’s how you can get involved:
💚 Wear something green on the day
💚 Donate or create a fundraiser - whatever you can
💚 Host something simple—coffee morning, walk, or wellbeing moment
💚 Check in on someone who might need it

No pressure. No perfection. Just real people showing up for each other.

If you want to start a fundraiser on your own, with friends, colleagues or family you can set that up and track progress easily here - Link in bio ☝️

Let’s make sure no one feels invisible this October 💚

The construction industry has one of the highest mental health risk profiles in the UK.

🚧 Long hours
🚧 High pressure
🚧 Physical demands
🚧 And a culture that often says “just get on with it”

The result?

📊 Construction workers are significantly more at risk of poor mental health and su***de compared to other industries.

This is exactly why reactive support isn’t enough anymore.

You need:
✔️ Preventative support
✔️ Easy-access tools (on-site, on the go)
✔️ A structured approach — not just posters on the wall

At MELP Co, we support construction teams with:
📱 24/7 access to the Melp+ app
🎧 Practical, no-nonsense tools that actually get used
📊 Engagement data to support tenders, compliance & internal reporting

Because in construction, mental health isn’t just about wellbeing…
It’s about safety, performance, and keeping your workforce strong.

👉 If you’re ready to take a more proactive approach, let’s talk.
