Can an ultrasound diagnose PCOS? 🤍

The answer might surprise you.

Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) is more than just what we see on an ultrasound scan.

Irregular periods, difficulties getting pregnant and signs of hormonal imbalance can all be part of the picture.

But an ultrasound alone cannot diagnose PCOS.

In today’s Reel, our sonographer at UltraCare Plus is joined by guest endocrinologist Dr Samira Khalilova to explain how different assessments work together.
