This MINT PDO result shows visible improvement through the lower face, particularly around the jowl and mandibular area.

A focused MINT PDO thread-lift case targeting both the midface and mandibular area.

In this treatment, 5 threads were used per cheek, for a total of 10 threads.

The result shows improved tissue position through the midface, with better support and definition through the lower face and mandibular area.

A useful example of how thread lifting can address more than one facial zone within the same treatment plan.

What if the lift didn’t stop at the jawline?

Dr Irfan Mian’s MALT technique is designed around a more connected approach to thread lifting — treating the face and neck as part of one lifting strategy rather than completely separate zones.

In the MALT design shown here, MINT Easy is used to create support in the neck, while MINT Fine is used in the midface and anchored into the lower support system.

The idea is not simply to place more threads. It is to create a more connected lifting architecture across the midface, jawline and neck.

This approach reflects Dr Mian’s wider work in thread lifting, where vector design, tissue depth and thread selection all influence how facial tissues are repositioned.

Dr Mian developed MALT in 2014 and later published on the technique. It is also taught within advanced face-and-neck thread-lifting education.

This case shows asymmetric brow correction using MINT Petit + MINT Mono by Dr Irfan Mian.

A small change in brow position can make a visible difference to overall facial balance.
