the last slide was a 🎥 taken last night and it’s bringing me SO much joy this evening ✨🥹🥹 caption👇🏽
I told this notion to my pals (not very eloquently I may add) when we went to an escape room last night… pointing out that we were very much ‘making memories’ that evening rather than just discussing them. My friend pulled out her phone and immediately started to jot down a little bucket list that we all contributed to comprising of what we are going to do next and (if my hazy memory serves me correctly) it included;

a scare/fright night;
an inflatable water park;
immersive theatre trip;
… and a holiday to the Philippines (that was my suggestion 🙃🤭).

So, go on then, indulge me… what would be on yours?! (or if you’ve done something epic with your mates already, inspire us and let’s start making the memories again!!)

Anyone relate to this?! It was such a penny drop moment for me. 🤍✨

👋🏼Pssst… I need your help! 👀 Every single one of these slides could have been a post in its own right… and honestly, maybe some of them need to be. SO….help me choose:

**Which slide would you like me to unpack in full?!** 💬
Just comment the title or slide number below and I’ll take it from there…
I’d love to be the one to find the right words - whether it’s just for you, or for conversations with your own brood. ✨

And FINALLY...
…if you’d like a Part 2 ✌🏽, hit like + leave your fav emoji/message below so I know this is a conversation worth continuing…

P.S - As always, I’m only sharing my evolving perspective, NOT claiming to have all the answers. I think conversations like these are how we all keep learning and, as a lover of words, even I’m not always convinced the ‘perfect’ ones exist.

With that in mind, I’m a lover not a fighter, so please be kind, fight fire with water …or if you can’t do either - keep scrolling 🤍 x

Have any of your little people arrived on dates / times of loved ones; tell me your stories. I’m here for it allllll

🌈 a story + a thought… because once you recognise the pattern, it’s very hard to unsee it 🤍

P.s - whoever you are, whatever your story, this little corner of the internet loves you very much.

✨🎉🥹🤍oh me oh my. THANK YOU to the 5000 people who have decided to ‘stick around’. In a world that is more divided than ever, community can be what brings people back together. I’ve always felt lucky that no matter what the metrics have said, I’ve always looked forward to logging on here as it’s a rare day when I’m not met with wonderful conversations, deep chats in the DM’s and restoration of my faith in humanity when I receive more and more confirmation that there are people who not only think like me, but are genuinely advocating for all the things I truly believe would make the world a bloody amazing place. So thank you to the day ones and the one days, you are quite literally my people and if I could give you all a big sloppy kiss - aside from logistics and hygiene restrictions! - I absolutely would.

Do you remember how you stumbled across this page? I’d love to know which conversation made you join the gang? Or perhaps you can share what would you’d like to see next/ more of?
I’m all ears - and will meet you in the comments! 💬 👇🏽🤍✨🥹

every now and then someone perfectly demonstrates why the original post was needed in the first place. I’m a lover not a fighter but sometimes things are worth unpacking 🤍✨

what do you think? should it have been a block & delete or was it another lesson worth sharing? I’ll meet you all in the comments 👇🏽💬🥹 Kate Okello Tarrant | actor, voice artist, writer, founder, mum ###
