💜 PCOS/PMOS Awareness Month: Understanding the Wider Impact 💜

PCOS is one of the most common hormonal conditions affecting women, but you may now start to hear it referred to as PMOS – Polycystic O***y Metabolic Syndrome.

The name change reflects a growing understanding that the condition is not simply about the ovaries. It can affect hormones, metabolism and many different aspects of a woman’s health.

Common symptoms can include:

• Irregular or absent periods
• Acne or oily skin
• Excess facial or body hair
• Hair thinning
• Weight gain or difficulty managing weight
• Fertility difficulties

Symptoms can vary significantly from one woman to another, which is why an individual approach to diagnosis and treatment is important.

😴 Why Am I Always Tired? When Fatigue Could Be Hormone-Related ⚖️

Feeling exhausted all the time?

Fatigue and low energy affect up to 95% of women during perimenopause and menopause, making it one of the most common symptoms experienced during the menopause transition.

Although many women assume feeling constantly tired is simply part of the menopause or getting older, persistent fatigue should not be ignored. Hormonal changes can play an important role, but poor sleep, brain fog and other underlying health conditions may also contribute.

At Hormone Health, our specialists take a personalised approach to understanding the cause of your symptoms and developing the right treatment plan for you.

Our services include:
✔️ Menopause consultations
✔️ Comprehensive hormone and health blood testing
✔️ Assessment for vitamin and nutritional deficiencies
✔️ Personalised treatment plans
✔️ Ongoing support and monitoring

If persistent fatigue is affecting your work, relationships or quality of life, specialist advice can help identify the underlying cause and explore the most appropriate treatment options.
