Die Stiftung ‘Walther-von-der-Vogelweide-Preis’ würdigt Fabian mit dem Förderpreis 2026.
Ausgebildet an der HfS Ernst Busch, mit seinem Kinodebüt in ‘Zweitland’ unter der Regie von Michael Kofler und einem Auftritt in ‘Etty’ von Hagai Levi, mit Gastengagements am Berliner Ensemble und an den Vereinigten Bühnen Bozen, repräsentiert er eine ambitionierte neue Generation von Kulturschaffenden.

The Walter von der Vogelweide Prize Foundation is honouring Fabian Mair Mitterer with the 2026 Sponsorship Award. This award goes to the emerging artist who has stood out through his roles such as ‘Future Macbeth’ at Berliner Ensemble, in the feature film ‘Zweitland’ by Michael Kofler and in the series ‘Etty’ by Hagai Levi.
Fabian’s upcoming stage project is VANYA by Simon Stephens, directed by Rudolf Frey, premiering at Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen on 7 November 2026.

Nach der ersten Premiere bei den diesjährigen Salzburger Festspielen ist Cino ab morgen in Hamburg in dieser Inszenierung von Jette Steckel in der Rolle ACASTE zu sehen - und ab 23. September in HARD TIMES von Charles Dickens in der Hauptrolle MISTER SLEAR, in einer Inszenierung von Antú Romero Nunes (Wiederaufnahme).

Stage news from CINO DJAVID. Molière’s play THE MISANTHROPE will premiere tomorrow at the Hamburg Thalia Theatre in a production directed by Jette Steckel which had its first premiere in summer at the Salzburg Festival. Cino’s role is ACASTE. He will also be seen in HARD TIMES by Charles Dickens in the lead role MISTER SLEARY, directed by Antú Romero Nunes, from 23 September.

für den Kinofilm ‘Mit der Faust in die Welt schlagen’

In der Rolle Menzel verkörpert Johannes eine dominante Figur innerhalb der lokalen Jugendclique, der die verletzlichen, frustrierten Jugendlichen tiefer in die rechtsextreme Radikalisierung treibt, während die sozialen Spannungen um ein neues Flüchtlingsheim eskalieren.

Johannes Scheidweiler is part of the ensemble who received the German Actors Award 2026 for the film ‘Punching the World’.
His role Menzel acts as a dominant presence in the rural Saxon town, steering vulnerable, frustrated teenagers towards a dangerous path of far-right radicalisation and violence as social tensions erupt over a new refugee shelter.

The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Berlinale Film Festival.

The short film produced and directed by Lino Strässer at the University of the Arts Berlin will have its world premiere in the Short Film Competition 5th the Riga International Film Festival.

Schöneberg in early spring. Aljosha sleeps with Levon and tells his girlfriend about it in the evening. Yara is about to show a film in Venice. Noelia is already thinking about someone else. They all depart but yet remain alone.
In the Weimar Republic era, Schöneberg was an experimental melting pot, later the political centre of West Berlin. Nowadays, it is an important space in the history and culture of LGBTQ+. It is here where Lino Strässer has decided to play out warm patina-covered vignettes of polyamory.
Screening at the Riga Film Festival on 22 October 2026.
