11 YEARS MARRIED TODAY… AND WHAT A BLOODY RIDE IT’S BEEN! 😂❤️🥂
14 years together, 11 years married, one beautiful Harrison, approximately 47,000 of your disgusting farts, and enough medical drama to fill about 17 series of Grey’s Anatomy. 🤦🏼♀️😂
If someone had told me 14 years ago what life had in store for us, I’d probably have run for the hills… or at the very least invested in a very good pair of earplugs and a gas mask. 🤣💨
From the highs and lows of life to the biggest health battles imaginable, including a journey with liver disease, cancer and a liver transplant that neither of us could ever have imagined… we’ve been through more than our fair share.
There have been tears, fear, hospital trips, moments we never thought we’d face, and more medical terminology than I ever wanted to learn in my lifetime. And somehow, through it all, we’re still here. ❤️
And the biggest blessing of all? Our beautiful Harrison, who makes us laugh, makes us proud, and is the best thing we’ve ever created. 🥹❤️ (Although your contribution to the household gas supply is questionable, James. 😂💨)
Life has a funny way of reminding you what really matters. You can plan everything perfectly, but you never know what’s around the corner. Sometimes all you can do is hold on to the people you love, find the humour in the darkest moments, and be grateful for every single day you get together.
I’m so grateful you’re here. Grateful for my best friend, our little family, and the fact that we’re still making memories together.
11 years married. 14 years of putting up with each other. One incredible little boy. One very lucky second chance at life. And one husband who STILL thinks his farts are funny. 🤢🤣
Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, adventures, and hopefully fewer hospital visits and less flatulence. 🥂🤣❤️
Life is precious. Love your people hard. And never underestimate the power of a good laugh when life gets tough. 🤍
