In-Deep Music Therapy In-Deep runs free music therapy groups for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged 3-25.

Sessions are on the second Saturday of each month (in person in London SW1) and the fourth Saturday of each month (online via Zoom).

Our Ashmole Music Therapy session, designed for children and young people with SEND, is next week on Thursday 15th October. We look forward to seeing you there! 🎵

Our expert therapists can adapt to your child’s needs with ease and kindness, and our volunteers are on hand to support.

As part of our sessions, young people aged 11-30 collaborate to write original songs inspired by their ideas, experiences and imagination. In this series, you’ll hear these songs performed by one of our music therapists, bringing each piece to life.

New songs will are released bi-weekly, with a pause during August.

This song is a journey of hunger across the sky the stars we fly we swim and we get home, it's easy to dance to the creativity of the young people we support!

We are very proud of all of them. Whether you’re a family member, a participant, or discovering us for the first time, don’t be shy - enjoy the music and let the beats take you in! 🎶

Join us next week, on Tuesday 13th October as the autumn term unfolds!

Come and take part in an inclusive and creative environment; where children and young people with SEND can explore performing arts and engage with their peers and teachers through shared creativity.

❤️Join us in this years autumn holiday Wicked-themed workshop for children and young people with SEND!

Activities: we've prepared a program with art therapy, music therapy, drama and dance. We will also be preparing for and do a final performance on the last day!

Time: 10.00am to 2.30pm

Date: three days, from Friday 30th to Sunday 1st. Minimum booking two days.

Ages: 3-10, 11-18 and 19-25

Fee: £15 per family for all three days

Play with your creativity, imagination and music in a safe and welcoming environment, prepared and adapted to you ❤️

Inspired by our upcoming holiday this October, Wicked, here is a Makaton video for "For Good" song, by senior Music Therapist Imogen.

This is a 3 day workshop with a schedule full of activities including art therapy, music therapy and drama from Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November. The program is specially designed for children and young people with SEND.

Fee is £15 per family for all three days.

Sing, move, and grow together at our monthly music therapy session at Millbank on Saturday 10th October🎤💫

These sessions are designed for children and young people with SEND.

Meet Maggie, who will be on placement with In Deep as part of her Royal College of Music BA🌸

Maggie Walker is in in her third year as an undergraduate at the Royal College of Music in London as a French Horn specialist.

She has considerable orchestral experience, playing with the National Schools Symphony Orchestra, the Worcester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Kew Sinfonia, the BBC Elstree Concert Band, the RCM Philharmonic and Symphony Orchestras and the Fidelio Orchestra.
Until last year she was Principal Horn with the ESO Youth Orchestra.

She is also currently an alto choral scholar at St Mary's Wimbledon, with whom she has just returned from a choir tour to Bavaria

Paddington the Musical Day🐻🎼❤️

Last Friday our community enjoyed a relaxed performance of Paddington the Musical. It was a wonderful time together and a beautiful performance.

This day was made possible by Weil, Gotshal and Manges LLP, which funded our trip.

Here's to many more musical memories together.

"Thank you for inviting us to Paddington the Musical. I cannot put into words how happy my son was. He was absolutely mesmerised by the performances. Using his speech tablet, he commented on how much he loved the dance moves, and he was opening his mouth in awe throughout the show.
