Unicorn class students had an amazing time when they visited the Royal Albert Hall for a fantastic sensory story telling experience called “Ally & The Soundwaves”. Ally & her band of musicians & dancers took us on a journey in search of sounds they needed to create their music & songs. On the journey there was many colours & objects to explore while we listened for the sounds that Ally collected to create music! The students experienced a jelly fish parachute under the sea, snowflakes of the arctic & birds singing in the forest, it was a truly magic musical journey enjoyed by all!

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming back to Jack Tizard the students of the London Children’s Ballet who are on tour with their amazing performance of “Anne OF Green Gables”. The young ballet dancers showed off their skills during a performance that was enjoyed by almost everyone in the school. Students from Jack Tizard had the opportunity to meet the dancers after the show, which made it a very exciting event for all!

A group of students from the Primary department had an amazing time at the “Frameless” immersive art exhibition at Marble Arch in central London. The opportunity for students to experience Frameless was thanks to the Primary Arts “Go & See” programme provided by our friends at A New Direction, who organise fantastic arts opportunities for schools across London.
At the exhibition the students were immersed in colour & light in huge sensory spaces where projections of colourful artworks & dramatic music surrounded them. Many of the artworks were interactive and the students enjoyed watching & following animated projections of shapes and colours, a truly wonderful experience for all!

Flamingo class had a most regal time at Kensington Palace last week. They learned all about Queen Caroline. They even learned the process of how hot chocolate would have been made for her

A great day was had by all and we continue to be grateful for the strong collaboration with the team at the Palace.

Jack Tizard staff have been training with Dan Beasley from Beasafe Training Limited.

They're trained to rescue people from swimming pools, administer first aid and use Defibrillators.

Keeping our pupils safe is our number one priority. It certainly looks like they had fun whilst training though!

A group of teachers from Jack Tizard were invited to Kensington Palace to learn more about the enrichment project that many of the school’s students are now engaged with. We were treated like VIP’s with drinks & nibbles & the opportunity to visit the exhibition “The Last Princesses of Punjab” where we learned about links between British & Punjabi royalty.
Many Jack Tizard students have enjoyed learning experiences at Kensington Palace this year including learning royal etiquette with “Queen Caroline”, gardening in the palace grounds and 1419LA students were involved in hugely rewarding work experience where they helped members of the public to learn about treasures in the Palace’s collection. The school is involved in a 5 year partnership with the education team at Kensington Palace that aims to provide many fantastic learning opportunities for Jack Tizard students in the future!
