CELEBRATIONS.

I have never loved celebrating myself.
Birthday parties have always been the worst for me.
I never felt that kind of attention was necessary.
A birthday always felt like just another day.

Since becoming a mum, Mother’s Day felt exactly the same.

I grew up in a culture where mothers and family are honoured constantly, through everyday life.
And funny enough, Mother’s Day in Italy is not a big deal like it is in the UK.
So I never really cared about it and never received any particular attention.
It never mattered.

But this year something shifted.
Maybe because I feel more like a mother than ever before.
Maybe because I realise how much unseen weight I carry.
Maybe because it suddenly hit me that life is too short not to give ourselves some gratitude.

And yes, I know these celebrations have been heavily commercialised, full of stereotypes and social expectations.
But they can still be a good reminder to pause and acknowledge ourselves.
To validate the forever imperfect but bloody hard work we do every single day.
And the inexplicable love we pour into it.
For our children.
For our families.
For our people.
Because once your first child makes you a mother, you become a mother of the world.
Sending love and gratitude to all of you.

What a start of the week 💫💫

I tested a session at Islington and here is my grounded take...

They combine a hyperbaric oxygen chamber with red light therapy, which together support tissue recovery by improving oxygen delivery, circulation, and cellular energy production.

This isn’t about quick fixes, but about decreasing inflammation and creating better physiological conditions for healing.

From a musculoskeletal perspective, this can be a wonderful add-on alongside rehab for tendon issues, muscle strains, ligament injuries, chronic joint irritation, and post-surgical recovery where inflammation and slower healing are limiting progress.

➡️ For my postnatal mums ⤵️

Especially following C-sections, this kind of recovery support can help with scar and tissue healing, abdominal and pelvic inflammation, and overall fatigue.

You'll also find these therapies in my full Postnatal Belly Solution™ Recovery Program! 😊

➡️ For women approaching perimenopause or menopause ⤵️

It supports recovery from training, joint and muscle aches, sleep quality, brain fog, and that general feeling of slower recovery!

💡👍 So overall..
..This is not a replacement for movement, rehabilitation, strength work, or a healthy lifestyle, but it is an excellent adjunct that I highly recommend to support and optimise your healing journey💫💫

For some reason, core work is often thrown in at the end of a session as quick “finisher” 😒

But in reality, the centre of our body is one of the best systems to activate at the start of a training session.

Why?

Because our core is the centre of energy transfer between upper and lower body.

It's the foundation for strength, stability, and control in every movement.

Activating it at the start awaken deep stabilisers and sets the tone for better movement efficiency and performance.

Here are a few of my favourite floor-based core activation drills (upper-body focus today, as I was prepping for an upper-body sesh).

But there are endless variations.

Easier or harder, based on everyone level and goal.

So keep it playful and adaptable.

💫MY TAKE:

〰️Warm up your core at the beginning, not the end.

〰️Change it up often: the body moves in multiple directions and needs to be ‘fed’ with variety.

〰️Movement variability builds true resilience, adaptability, and long-term function, keeping the body strong and injury-free.

❓What do you do in your warm-up?
❗️Share your thoughts with me! 😊😊💫

I posted this reel a few days ago and received so many messages asking how I 'manage' my pelvic floor during advanced exercises like this, after having kids 😩

The truth?

It’s not an easy journey.

Anyone who has experienced pelvic floor issues after childbirth knows how vulnerable any increase in pressure can make you feel.

Getting to this point took time, training progression, and consistency.

Recovery isn’t just about Kegels or isolated pelvic floor work.

It’s about putting those into a 'context' of strength and coordination throughout the whole body.

One of the biggest game-changers has been developing real upper body and back strength.

Because the stronger and more stable the arms and back are, the better they can support the pressure from above, and that completely changes how the pelvic floor feels and responds.

So if you’re on this journey too, don’t neglect your upper body.

A strong core and a strong pelvic floor always need a strong base and strong support above and below💪✨

People often ask why I talk about stress, sleep or nutrition when they only want to recover from an injury.

Because healing isn’t local.

It's systemic.

Your energy, your breath, your nervous system, even your thoughts affect how your body repairs.

If you’re inflamed, wired, or sleep-deprived, the body doesn’t heal efficiently...it protects!

We can’t control everything, but we have far more influence over our healing than we realise.

And zooming out from the pain and looking at the whole picture is where real recovery begins 💫

When life feels overwhelming, look back at the moments that made you feel alive 💫

If you’re after a true full-immersion movement experience, .club retreats are absolutely the ones you need to try out.

Movement has always been, and will always be, one of the core ingredients of my life.

These guys captured perfectly how movement fuels connection, health, joy, focus, and the way we experience life itself ♥️💫

(And to those who think they don’t enjoy movement...you just haven’t found your kind yet 😉)

Dear Sebi and Sofi,

Here is what I truly want you to learn in life… ✨

1️⃣ DON’T BLINDLY RESPECT RULES, UNDERSTAND THEM FIRST.

Not all rules are for you. Understand them, then decide what matters. Build your own code.

2️⃣ DON’T BE A FOLLOWER.

Just because everyone does it, doesn’t mean it’s the truth or right.
Don't simply believe everything you are told.
Live with your own rhythm.
Own it.

3️⃣ CONFIDENCE IS EVERYTHING, LEARN TO BUILD IT FROM WITHIN.

Confidence grows from action. Keep promises to yourself. Be proud of how you show up.

4️⃣ DON’T LIVE YOUR LIFE TRYING TO PLEASE.

Stay true to what feels right. You don’t need to shrink to fit in.

5️⃣ SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THE RIGHT PEOPLE, BUT DON’T RELY ON THEM TO DEFINE YOU.

Choose people who lift you but learn to stand strong alone.

6️⃣ COMPETE ONLY WITH YOURSELF.

Comparison kills joy.
Compete to grow, not to prove anything to anyone.
If you’re growing, you’re winning.
Push to show yourself what you’re capable of.
And be kind to others while doing it.

7️⃣ YOUR BODY IS YOUR HOME. TREAT IT WITH RESPECT.

Move, nourish, and care for it. How you treat it will echo into your mind, your mood, your entire life and it will reflect how people will treat you.

8️⃣ TRAVEL. PROPERLY.

Don’t go on holiday. Explore, connect, understand the world.
The world is messy and beautiful.
And it will make you a bigger person if you let it.

9️⃣ THERE’S BEAUTY IN EVERYTHING, IF YOU’RE WILLING TO LOOK FOR IT.

Even struggle brings gifts. Reframe everything. Train your mind to see the beauty already built in most things.

🔟 THIS LIFE IS YOURS, SO LIVE IT WITH INTENTION.

Do the things that set your soul on fire.
Fail fast and try often.
Learn from it.
Until you win.
Say yes when it matters.
Say no when it doesn't serve you.
Live awake.
With intention.
With courage.
Because no one else can do that for you.

Love ♥️
Mamy

💫VISION BOARDS REIMAGINED 💫

I was always told to create vision boards.
To set big goals.
To focus on the future in order to get what—and where—I wanted.

But I’ve never really followed that advice.
I’m glad I didn’t.
Because what truly unlocks me has always been the opposite.

Lately, I’ve felt seriously overwhelmed.
Drowning in digital everything.
So I took a rejection break.

Instead of looking ahead and pushing forward like we’re told to do, I paused—and looked back.

Because sometimes the magic isn’t in the next step.
It’s in the past ones.

The places you’ve been.
The things you’ve overcome.
The beauty you’ve already created.

Maybe what we need right now isn’t another future plan.
Maybe it’s a reminder of how far we’ve already come.
Because that’s what gives clarity.
That’s what shows us our strength.
That’s what unlocks the next move.

Joy isn’t only in the next goal.
It’s in the memories that lit us up.

So here’s my Past Board.
Filled with reminders that life has been full.
That progress happened.
That it’s been fun—and meaningful.

And if you’re feeling behind right now—
Because the week didn’t go to plan
Because the kids are sick
Because you are
Because you’re tired, in pain, or just over it—

Pause.
Breathe.
Look back.

You’re not failing.
You’re human.
You’re still becoming.

Tiny wins.
Mini milestones.
Moments that mattered.

You’ve done amazing things before.
You’ll do them again.
And probably even better.
(That’s the beauty of ageing 💫)

With love,
Claudia
