Coming off medication can be harder than you expect.

You deserve time, support and a plan that works for you.

Speak to your prescriber before changing or stopping your medication, and never feel that you have to struggle in silence.

Save this post for when you need it, or share it with someone who might, too.

💗 PMDD doesn’t just affect the person experiencing it. It can affect the people who love them, too.

Following the findings from our loved one’s research study - and the success of our first workshops for loved ones - we’re launching a trial run of dedicated support groups for partners, spouses, parents, family members and friends.

A space to connect with others, share experiences and feel understood. Because you deserve support, too. 💗

📍 Online & in-person (Liverpool)
📅 Starting November 2026

Want to take part? Sign up here and we’ll be in touch: https://forms.gle/wnvm7CCMxjmMNZMr8

We’re also looking for two volunteers to help deliver the project. If you’re interested, please email [email protected] 💗

there are SO many things waiting for you that you don’t know about yet!!!

people you’ve never met.
places you’ve never seen.
songs you’ve never heard.
versions of yourself you’ve never been.

you don’t have to be able to see the whole future today, but you just have to stay long enough to find out what’s in it 🤍

We’re always soooo lucky to receive such wonderful support from our community and are always BLOWN AWAY by the fundraisers that take place throughout the country (and beyond!). So it’s about bloody time we start giving our supporters a shout-out.

This past month has been a very busy month for some of our supporters so a special thanks to these lovely people who have taken part in the Three Peaks Challenge or Vitality 10k and, between them, raised thousands of pounds for The PMDD Project.

If you’re taking part in a fundraiser, or would like to, please do reach out! We are always grateful and couldn’t exist without you lovely lot.

ADHD Awareness Month 🧡

There’s growing research exploring the connection between ADHD and PMDD and how hormonal changes throughout the cycle may affect ADHD symptoms.

For some people, the overlap can mean more overwhelm, emotional sensitivity, brain fog, impulsivity and difficulty focusing.

We’re sharing what the research tells us, what the overlap can look like, and some ways to make those harder days a little more manageable. 🧡

We know that stories of sexual violence can feel deeply upsetting, particularly for anyone who has experienced sexual assault, harassment, coercion or any form of abuse themselves.

If this news has brought things up for you, please be gentle with yourself.

This is why we’re calling for dedicated NICE guidance for PMDD.

924 people shared what it is actually like to seek help for PMDD. Their experiences show the need for greater consistency across:

Recognition.
Diagnosis.
Treatment.
Safety.
Referral.
Monitoring.
Long-term care.

People with PMDD deserve a clear pathway to appropriate care.

We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to share their experience. ❤️ These findings will help inform our next submission to NICE as we continue to call for dedicated NICE guidance for PMDD.
