🟢 A woman in her 30s presented with a three month history of green discolouration to the distal parts of all her fingernail plates

💅 She reported using artificial nails for one month before the discoloration began.

She continued using them to cover the discoloration once it appeared.

💦 She denied prolonged exposure to water.

🔍 A sample from the affected nail plate tested negative for fungal nail infection using potassium hydroxide.

🦠 Bacterial culture of the nail sample also gave a negative result.

What is the diagnosis?
