The countdown is on for this year’s all-new Good Spa Guide Awards, and we are delighted to reveal the host for 2026 is presenter, podcaster, author, marathon runner and all-round nicest man on telly, Ben Shephard

Ben is best known as one of the much-loved faces of ITV’s This Morning, which he has fronted alongside Cat Deeley since 2024. Before that, he spent ten years waking the nation up on Good Morning Britain, and he has been dropping counters on Tipping Point since 2012.

Even more excitingly for the wellness devotees at GSG HQ, Ben is something of a kindred spirit. He co-hosts Men’s Health’s Built For Life podcast, all about training, practical science and mental fitness. A night with the spa industry should feel like home turf.

Ben is already in the spirit: “Looking after myself, physically and mentally, has become a big part of my life since turning 50, and spas do brilliant work on both. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the people who help us all slow down. I can’t wait to cheer on the finalists in November”

The Good Spa Guide Awards 2026 take place on Monday 16 November at Sopwell House, St Albans.

We’re loving this throwback from our client The Spa at Ye Olde Bell, looking back at last year’s Halloween Family Spa! It’s safe to say the team are already getting ready for another spooktacular half term! 🕷️🧡

The Kids & Family Spa brings together family fun, relaxation and plenty of Halloween treats, making it a brilliant way to enjoy some quality time together.

It’s been another busy month at Spa PR and we’re excited to start settling into the Autumn months!

Some of our monthly highlights for September included a gorgeous client meeting at Gleddoch Golf & Spa Resort , which also allowed some time for a little indulgence, soaking in the amazing views from the outdoor sauna

We were delighted to have secured Urtekram Nordic Beauty in a fantastic feature in Condé Nast Traveller about Scandi hair care secrets thanks to ANITA BHAGWANDAS

We organised the BBC north West Tonight team to go along to film the vine harvest at Carden Park . Manager of the Vines restaurant Julian spoke about this years particularly good harvest due to the warmer weather. The presenter was lucky enough to have a taste of the Carden reserve and said it was “delicious”
