With exciting plans already taking shape for UKIO 2027, UKIO President, Shah Islam, shares his welcome and vision for the congress ahead -

"This year's theme captures the three forces I believe are shaping the future of imaging and oncology. People keep healthcare human. Whatever changes around us, patients, colleagues, teams and communities remain at the heart of everything we do. Precision is our pursuit of better. Advances in imaging, AI, data and personalised care are sharpening our decisions, improving outcomes and helping us deliver the right care to the right patient at the right time. Partnership is how innovation becomes real change. No one makes progress alone. It takes collaboration across professions, disciplines, organisations and industry, and between people and technology.

Put people at the centre. Harness technology. Work together. That's how we deliver the future of healthcare, and I hope you'll be there to help shape it."

📢 The wait is over. UKIO 2027 is here!

We're delighted to reveal the theme for UKIO 2027, the UK's only multidisciplinary imaging and oncology congress: 'People. Precision. Partnership.'

The theme captures the three forces shaping the future of imaging and oncology today. People keep healthcare human and are at the heart of everything we do – patients, colleagues, teams and communities. Precision is the pursuit of better - advances in imaging, AI, data and personalised care help us to make more informed decisions, improve outcomes and deliver the right care to the right patient at the right time. Partnership recognises that progress cannot happen in isolation and depends on collaboration across professions, disciplines, organisations and industry, and between people and technology, to turn innovation into meaningful change.

Put people at the centre. Harness technology. Work together. That's how we deliver the future of healthcare, and UKIO is where we come together from diagnostic imaging, oncology, radiological sciences, and industry to learn, collaborate and shape what's next. Join us!
