You heard it right: Tateside is back on tour, and our team has been busy carrying out 18 meeting room upgrades using the brilliant Cisco Webex devices across Minneapolis, Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham, Denver, Portland, Salt Lake City, and finishing up Sleeplessly in Seattle.

That’s a whole lot of meeting rooms, a whole lot of miles, and a whole lot of Tateside.

Perfect time to drop our photos from our Summer Social! ☀️

Thanks to Temper for having us; the team enjoyed their Butchery Course, a full-on behind-the-scenes session of how they prep and cook their meat. It was a true eye-opener, and we’ve come away having learnt a lot. The main thing is to stay on Slywies’ good side!

It’s been a fantastic summer, full of good vibes & projects. Now we are looking forward to what Autumn will bring; here’s hoping for less sweaty installations!

In this massive project, we delivered the AV infrastructure across an entire staff wellbeing hub for one of the leading Formula One teams, bringing together distributed audio, digital signage, presentation tech and collaboration spaces under one seamless system.

Bose Professional speakers keep the restaurant, bistro and coffee bar ensuring the vibage stays 💯, while the gym, spin studio and multi-purpose fitness spaces are equipped with powerful, high-energy audio built to keep people moving.

Waved regulates and automates the volume levels, analysing data every five seconds to determine if the music volume is in harmony with the background vibe in the room.

Big Samsung displays power everything from spin class leaderboards to presentations, with cloud-managed digital signage making updates effortless across the building.

The events space is ready for everything from company meetings to large presentations too, with Yealink conferencing, Microsoft Teams integration and intelligent source switching making collaboration simple.

A space designed for work, wellness and everything in between 👏

Bringing the lazy to the forest…

We have worked with on their brand-new Lazy Forest at Babington House, a collection of private wellness huts designed for switching off and generally forgetting what day it is.

Each hut has its own networked audio zone, with Dante-enabled Blaze Audio amplifiers bringing the wellness playlist over from the main spa. If that isn’t your vibe, local Bluetooth wall plates let guests take over with their own playlist.

And to make the sauna experience even more relaxing, we specified Bowers & Wilkins AM-1s for the outdoor/high-moisture areas and Sonance Extreme Series speakers inside the saunas.

Keeping the audio quality high and stress levels low🍃

Happy birthday to us! 🎂

18 whole years of Tateside, wow! How are we celebrating, you ask? Like any Great British 18th, we will be downing lots of vodka in a park with our mates.

It’s been 18 wonderful years, working on some mad projects, meeting fantastic people and making memories.

Thank you to everyone who’s been a part of this journey; here’s to the next 18 years 🎉

Tateside on tour, coming to a city near you (maybe) ✈️

Our team swapped the london office for Poland to deliver another successful installation for one of our global clients.

This project included 5 brand-new meeting rooms, 4 × Cisco Room Bar, 1 × Cisco Room Bar Pro, Desk Mic Pros throughout AND USB-C BYOD connectivity for effortless screen sharing and video calls.

With the help of Cisco Room OS, every room now offers one-touch joining for Webex, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom, smooth meetings whatever your platform of choice.

Of course, it wasn’t all work… they also made time to experience a little Polish culture, which means eating their own body weights in pierogi 🥟

Another sick project loading….💪

Really excited to be working on a new student accommodation development, bringing the building to life across three towers and more than 100 floors.

The project includes over 100 digital signage displays, large-format Samsung Electronics QH115FX screens, LED displays, and background music throughout the development using Bose Professional and Martin Audio Ltd speakers.

So the residents get the good vibes from the moment they step into the building!

The real question is…can we move in?

Is it coming home? 🏆

We have just finished a worldie project W1 who were looking to get their venue ready for the World Cup!

After a site survey and reviewing sightlines across the venue, we decided that a multi-screen solution would deliver a much better viewing experience for customers.

The final install included:

5 x 55” displays positioned across columns and the bar area
1 x 85” display at the entrance

Behind the scenes, we used Blustream video matrix to distribute content across the venue, giving the team flexibility to manage multiple sources including:

⚽️ Dual Freeview feeds for different channels
⚽️ Digital signage content

The result is a flexible AV system that works just as well for live sport as it does for promotions, events and day-to-day venue content.
