What an amazing email and photo to receive!
"Good Morning Mr Bradbury and team,
I’ve been meaning to write this email for a while.
I wanted to let you know that the day I walked out of your office and you said to me, “you can run a marathon now,” I laughed — but it resonated with me. It stuck in my mind more than you probably realised, and it became the spark that pushed me forward.
I put my name into the London Marathon ballot… and I got in. I used that moment as my drive to stay focused on my rehab after my operation, and in April 2026 — just after my 40th birthday — I ran the London Marathon. I completed it in 6 hours 30 minutes. It wasn’t about speed; it was about proving that with the right preparation, dedication, and belief, you can achieve things you never thought possible.
I want to thank you — not only for fixing my knee and giving me back the ability to live an active life, but also for that small comment that gave me the motivation to take on such a huge challenge. It genuinely made a difference.
Wishing you a great rest of the week."
