Making connections and opening doors to employment πŸ’™

Recently, Anna and Rasida from our JET team represented Tower Project at the Tower Hamlets Council Health & Wellbeing Careers Event!

They caught up with our fantastic partners at OCS, met fellow advisers from Connect to Work and spoke with local residents about employment opportunities and the support available.

With a great turnout, it was a brilliant chance to strengthen partnerships and connect with our local community. Thank you to everyone who stopped by! 🀝

A brilliant start to the week for some of our service users! πŸ€βš½οΈ

Paul and Vinh recently took part in a multisport session at Mile End Leisure Centre, run by the Vallance Community Trust Community Sports Association.

The sessions take place every Monday from 10am–12pm, giving participants the opportunity to get active, try different sports and enjoy time together in a supportive environment.

Paul and Vinh really enjoyed the session and are already looking forward to attending each week.

A big thank you to Iqbal, SEND Engagement Manager, and his team for making the sessions so welcoming and enjoyable. 😊

A busy few weeks for our New Dawn service members! 🌟

From getting out and about in the community to learning new skills, trying new activities and celebrating together, there’s been plenty going on.

Our recent activities have included a visit to Stepney City Farm, a mini sports day at Mile End Park, gardening sessions and a fascinating Spirit of the Wild exhibition at New Dawn. πŸ¦‰πŸŒ±

Service members also took part in a Money Shop presentation, enjoyed an Eid celebration together and got involved in the Mile End Sports Day. πŸ…

A special congratulations to Adjoa, who came first in cricket at the sports day! πŸ‘πŸ

It’s great to see everyone getting involved, building confidence, learning and, most importantly, having fun together.
