The answer isn’t always adding more filler to mask a problem.
The aesthetics industry has massively evolved. Don’t get me wrong, I love a dermal filler and it absolutely has its place. But it’s not always about adding volume or masking the signs of ageing.
It’s about understanding what’s happening to our faces as we get older, what we’re gradually losing and how we can support it.

So why do I love Sculptra?
Sculptra is a collagen biostimulator made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA).
It works differently from traditional dermal fillers. Rather than simply giving immediate volume, it stimulates your body’s own collagen production, which naturally declines as we age.
I absolutely love this option for clients noticing hollowing, facial volume loss or that tired appearance that can come with ageing. It’s also a great treatment to consider for clients who’ve lost weight and noticed changes in their facial structure and support.
Personally, being in my 50s, I don’t want to load my face with filler. I want to encourage my own collagen production, maintain my facial structure and still look like me.
That’s exactly why Sculptra appeals to me.
But this is a treatment you need to be patient with.
We’re not looking for those dramatic overnight before-and-afters.
