Together We Can Inclusive Activity Club – Closure Announcement
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Together We Can Inclusive Activity Club will be permanently closing its doors after Christmas.
This has not been an easy decision, and one that we have given a great deal of thought to. After 7.5 years of running the club, the demands of fundraising, planning, organising activities and keeping everything running on a week-to-week basis have simply become too much to continue alongside personal circumstances for the three of us. We are also not willing to pass on the club for anyone else to run as this is our legacy and one we would like people to remember with a smile on their faces and not see it change, as it changes hands.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to every single person who has supported Together We Can over the years. Whether you attended the club, volunteered your time, donated, helped with fundraising, supported our events, or simply shared and encouraged what we do — we truly could not have done it without you.
Together We Can has been incredibly lucky to have received support from so many wonderful services, organisations and charities throughout our journey, and we will always be grateful for everything you have done for us and the families we have supported.
As we bring the club to a close, all items belonging to Together We Can will be sold and/or donated to other services and charities that have supported us over the past 7.5 years. Any remaining club funds will also be donated to organisations that we feel are deserving and aligned with the values of Together We Can.
Our fundraising raffle page will close on 1st December so please make sure all page credits are used up and you make the most of all the raffles coming up until then (mainly chocolate for your christmas fix 🤭🤣).
Although this is the end of our journey as a club, we hope that the friendships, memories, experiences and positive impact created over the years will continue to live on.
