Online voting is now open! You can choose up to three local charities to support, including us (in collaboration with Keech Hospice). Our project will enable us to hire extra staff, use Keech's amazing fitness facilities, improve how we measure our impact on brain injury survivors' lives as well make better connections between us and Keech - whose work is not just about end of life, rather they also support those with life-long conditions.

Luton is celebrating 150 years since it officially became a borough in 1876. Across the town there have been a range of celebrations, exhibitions and events to commemorate the occasion. At Headway Luton, we decided to host our own week of celebrations at our day centre on Alma Street.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to our raffle including: Venue 360, The Beauty Project (Barton-le-Clay), Tesco Community Champions, Morrisons (Birdsfoot Lane), Co-op (Barton-le-Clay), Velaa Store (Birdsfoot Lane), and Luton Council for the outside bunting. A special thank you to Event Rhino for donating the photo booth for us to capture great memories and to Roger Michael Huxley for the music.

Thank you to Luca, Sonny, Karys and Rhys for running the half marathon for Headway Luton. We appreciate your efforts, especially to those of you who have never ran such a huge distance before! We hope your training has gone well and you are looking forward to the challenge!

In 2024, two staff members their friends ran the 10km at the Love Luton RunFest. We are back for 2026 but this time with a bigger team and an aim to at least double the amount raised two years ago. Please donate to help us smash our target!

We’re proud to be supporting Headway Luton as part of the team taking on the ATW Love Luton RunFest on 11 October 2026.

This year, staff from Headway Luton and Joe Graham & Sons, alongside volunteers, trustees, friends, family and clients, will be taking on the 5K, 10K and half marathon to raise vital funds for people affected by brain injury and their families.

Headway Luton provides vital support through its day centre in Luton and Houghton Regis, as well as its community service. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time, and the support they provide can make a life-changing difference. πŸ’™

In 2024, the team raised Β£1,639. This time, we're aiming to at least double that! πŸ™Œ

We’d love your support. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Headway Luton continue its important work.
