🐹A little adventure with Daisy & Buddy🐹
Oh, what a day our hooman has had 😱🚗
We were SO disappointed that we couldn’t make it to our visit today. We were all ready for cuddles, fuss and spreading our usual piggy happiness, but our car decided it had other plans!🙈
Instead, we ended up having a little adventure
🚨🚔
First, our hooman had to be towed off a dangerous road by the police. Thank goodness they were there to help! We even got to travel with the blue lights on 🚨
Then a lovely passer-by went out of their way to take our hooman to a petrol station to fill a jerry can and bring her back to the car. So so very kind 💛
But the adventure wasn’t over yet! The car battery had decided to give up too, so we waited for the recovery vehicle, which arrived in speedy time. Phew! 😰
This was especially important because our hooman has Type 1 diabetes and didn’t have many snacks with her. Of course, we offered to share our salad 🥬🐹, but apparently salad doesn’t have enough carbohydrates to help her blood sugars when she needs a proper snack 🫣Honestly, hoomans are so complicated! 😂
We even got to enjoy a ride on a TRUCK! 🚛 What an exciting day out… although we would have much preferred to have spent it meeting lovely new friends Oaklands Rest Home
We are looking forward to seeing you soon though 🫶🏼
The best part of the day? Meeting so many lovely people who went out of their way to help our hooman. There was kindness, patience and even a few giggles along the way. Because sometimes, when everything goes wrong, all you can do is laugh! 🥰
And talking of lovely people… what a wonderful wheek we’ve had! 🌼
🐹💛 Templeton Place - It was lovely to see Kiya again! We always love catching up with familiar friends and sharing our little bit of piggy magic.
🐹💛 West Cliff Hall - Lily joined Buddy for this visit and got to meet a lovely new member of staff. We also met so many friendly people who treated us to delicious little treats. We were definitely feeling very spoilt! 😋🥬
🐹💛 The Wicketts - Yesterday was extra special because we had our VERY FIRST visit!
Anita and the wonderful staff introduced us to the lovely residents, and oh my goodness, we were SO excited to meet everyone. It turned out they were just as excited to meet us!
There were gentle strokes, so much love, happy faces and lots of singing. 🎶🐹 We absolutely love seeing the smiles we bring and feeling all those gentle hands giving us fuss. Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do 🥰
We might be little piggies, but we know that a little bit of love, a furry cuddle and a happy wheek can make a BIG difference 💛
We’re looking forward to seeing you all again very soon!
Lots of wheeks, whisker kisses and extra-special piggy cuddles,
Daisy, Buddy, Lily & Rosie 💛
