We sat down and read all 200+ reviews on our website. Every essay, every one-liner, every three-star, just to see how people actually live with CELLER8 once it arrives.

They didn’t just give people PEMF and ask if they felt better. 👀

In one randomised, double-blind, sham-controlled study, researchers looked at whether low-intensity transcranial PEMF could have an effect in people with treatment-resistant depression.

50 people took part:
🧠 25 received active tPEMF
🧠 25 received a sham treatment

Importantly, neither the participants nor the researchers assessing them knew who was receiving the active treatment. Their existing antidepressant medication was also kept unchanged during the study.

The researchers reported that the active tPEMF group had a significantly better outcome than the sham group.

So, what does this actually tell us?

It’s one interesting piece of research into how pulsed electromagnetic fields may interact with the brain, but it’s important to look at the study for what it is. This was transcranial PEMF, using a specific device and protocol.

Safe to say, September kept us busy.
