It’s not that you’re busy. It’s that your mind never gets to switch off.

Mind clutter doesn’t look like chaos from the outside. It looks like you, functioning perfectly well, replying to emails, packing lunches, hitting deadlines.

But underneath it, it feels like: forgetting why you walked into a room. Re-reading the same email three times because nothing’s going in. Lying awake running through tomorrow’s to-do list instead of sleeping. Feeling irritable over small things that wouldn’t normally bother you.

None of that means something’s wrong with you. It means your mind is holding far more than it was ever meant to hold at once, and it needs somewhere to put some of it down.

If this sounds familiar, I offer a free 30-minute consultation to talk it through. No pressure, just a conversation. Reach out to me today.

Monday reminder: You’re not behind... you’re exactly where you need to be.

Here’s your gentle start to the nudge, life isn’t a race.

You don’t need to keep up, prove yourself, or tick every box to be worthy.

Take a breath, slow down, and focus on what truly matters to you.

Small steps, steady pace, calm mind. That’s where real progress lives.

💬 What’s one small way you’ll slow down and be kind to yourself this week?

“I wouldn’t even know where to start…”

You don’t need to. That’s my job. 😊

Booking a first session can feel daunting. You’re meeting someone new, talking about yourself, and maybe wondering, “Is my problem even big enough to make a fuss about?”

I hear “This is probably really silly…” a lot. My answer is always the same: if it’s bothering you, it matters. You don’t need to measure it against anyone else’s.

Here’s what a first session at MindReset looks like:
💬 We start with a conversation about what’s brought you here, what’s been feeling hard, and what you’d like to feel or do differently
💬 You don’t need a neat explanation. Lose your train of thought, have a cry, or say “I honestly don’t know.” We’ll work it out together, at your pace
💬 I’ll explain everything in plain English, including how hypnotherapy works and what we might do together, and there’s plenty of room for your questions

If you’re picturing a very serious therapist in a stiff suit… that’s not me! Expect someone down-to-earth, with a bit of humour, and a space where you can just be yourself.

You’re not coming to be judged. You’re coming to be heard.

You’re not broken, and you don’t need to have it all figured out before asking for support.

Wondering what a first session could look like for you? Send me a message with any questions or to book a free chat; No pressure, just a conversation.

When did you last give your mind permission to switch off?

A room full of business owners, mums and multitaskers. For one hour, nobody had to hold it all together.

I recently ran my Mind Declutter, Mind Reset session for a wonderful group of women from a local networking group, and it was just what so many of them needed.

These women run businesses, look after families, and keep a hundred plates spinning every single day. The to-do lists in their heads never really stop. So together we pressed pause.

Through a relaxing guided experience, we:
💜Cleared some of the mental clutter that builds up day after day
💜 Let go of the “I should be doing something” feeling
💜 Gave the mind a chance to rest, reset and feel lighter

Watching the room soften, shoulders drop and faces relax was such a special moment. Plenty of the women said they hadn’t felt that calm in a long time.

You don’t have to wait until you’re running on empty to give your mind some space.

Do you run a networking group, team or women’s community that could do with a reset? I’d love to bring Mind Declutter, Mind Reset to your group; get in touch let’s have a chat.

9 in 10 of us felt high or extreme stress last year. So why are so many of us still not asking for help? 💭

Life feels heavier right now. Money is tight, waiting lists are long, and it’s easy to tell yourself you’ll deal with it “when things calm down.” But burnout doesn’t wait for a better time. Men and women are both feeling it, and it often builds so quietly that we don’t notice until we’re running on empty.

Some signs to look out for:
🔸 Waking up tired, however much you’ve slept.
🔸 A shorter fuse than usual, snapping at the people you love.
🔸 Feeling flat, detached, or like you’re going through the motions.
🔸 Your mind won’t switch off at night.
🔸 Forgetting things, losing focus, everything feels like an effort.
🔸 Pulling away from friends, plans, and things you used to enjoy.
🔸 Tension headaches, a tight jaw, or a knotted stomach.

If any of these sound familiar, you’re not weak and you’re not failing. Your mind and body are telling you something needs to change.

Reaching out doesn’t have to mean a year on a waiting list. Sometimes it starts with one conversation. 💛

If this post felt a little too familiar, send me a message or book a free chat via my website. We’ll talk through what’s going on and whether a guided experience could help you feel more like yourself again.

How much time does that voice in your head criticise you?

I wonder what you could achieve if we made that voice your biggest cheer leader instead of your harshest critic.

Well I can help you to do that if you find yourself being the biggest critic of you.

👉🏻 Domestic abuse doesn’t always leave bruises, sometimes it hides in silence, fear, or control.

This October is Domestic Abuse Awareness Month, a time to shine a light on an issue that affects over 2.3 million people every year in the UK.

Too often, abuse happens behind closed doors or is dismissed as a “private matter.”

But everyone deserves to feel safe, in their home, in their relationship, and in their own mind.

Change is happening. With greater awareness and new laws like the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, support for victims, children, and even pets is growing.

Still, stigma and silence remain powerful barriers, and that’s why awareness matters more than ever. 💜

If you or someone you know is struggling, please know that help is available, you are not alone, and you do deserve safety and peace.

💜 If you need a safe space to talk, please reach out, there’s support waiting for you.

Today is World Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of mental health and breaking down the stigma around it.

As a therapist, I want to emphasise that you are not alone in your struggles, and there is no shame in reaching out for help.

Mental health challenges affect millions of people worldwide, and they don't discriminate based on age, gender, or background. We all face times when life feels overwhelming, and that's okay. It's essential to remember that seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Let's work together to create a world where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health. Let's break the stigma and foster a culture of understanding, empathy, and support.

Reach out to a friend, family member, or professional like myself when you need someone to talk to. You don't have to go through difficult times alone. There are people who care about your wellbeing and are ready to offer a listening ear or professional guidance.

Healing begins when we open up, share our thoughts and feelings, and work towards better mental health together. Whether it's through therapy, counselling, or simply confiding in a loved one, there are numerous avenues for support and healing.

Please remember that self-care is crucial. Take time for yourself, prioritise your mental health, and practice self-compassion. It's not selfish; it's self-preservation.

For all my new followers ...

👋🏻 I’m Denise Little, a mum, dog mum & a therapist based in Malmesbury. My background was in teaching before becoming a therapist over 10 years ago. I love to drink coffee & read a good trashy novel. I love to travel & a walk on a beach.

Before you work with me one to one you’re probably going to want to know something about me and rightly so.

There are lots of therapists out there, offering all sorts of help and I want you to know that you’ve found the right support before you decide to work with me.

Now I could give you a long list of the training I’ve completed and the letters I have after my name but I know that’s not what you want to know.

You want to know that you can talk to me, open up about how you’re feeling, and know you’re in a safe place and I want you to know that you can and you are.

However we work together you have my help and support to get you to where you want to be, living a life you love.

I’m not just going to sit and nod my head while you talk, I don’t want to unpick your past or even make you cry (although you can because tears are sometimes needed).

I will be real, probably be wearing colourful Doc. Martins and I will try to make you smile as we go through this mind reset together, because, it’s okay to laugh and smile while you heal and transform.

So if get to work with you in the future you now know a little bit about me.

If you already know me, let me know in the comments below how we met 👇🏻💕

Whatever you’re carrying right now, you don’t have to carry it alone.

This October, I’ve seen so many clients struggling with very different challenges, but one thing is always the same: the relief they feel when they realise they’re not alone.

Whether it’s anxiety, addiction, menopause, grief, or big life transitions, the right support makes all the difference.

If you’re reading this and nodding along, take it as your sign. Book a free consultation with me today, and let’s help you find calm again.
