Dr Fatin Karam- General Practitioner
Specialising in family planning and Sexual health.

Dr Karam has been a GP in Liverpool for 24 years and has interests in women’s health including family planning, menopause and Hormone Replacement Therapy. Dr Karam also has interests in Men’s health, child health surveillance, joint injections, minor surgery and Chronic disease management.

Dr Karam is an accredited trainer for health education Northwest England and has won several awards such as teaching excellence from Imperial College in London, most innovative GP and Addressing health inequalities in primary care.

Mr Ufuk Gur FRCS - General Surgeon

Specialises in General and Lower GI surgery

Mr Gur has been a Consultant General and Colore**al Surgeon at the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals since October 2006. Mr Gur specialises in colore**al cancer, proctology (treatment of haemorrhoids, a**l fistula, chronic a**l fissure), pelvic floor disorders (faecal incontinence, re**al prolapse, obstructed defecation) and hernia surgery.

He is the clinical lead of the Pelvic Floor service at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and is a core member of the Pelvic Floor MDT. He leads the regional sacral neuromodulation programme for faecal incontinence in Merseyside.
