We can ask AI almost anything about our health these days.

We can search our symptoms, track our sleep and get a wellness routine in seconds.
But sometimes, more information doesn't mean more clarity.

Because your health isn't just a collection of symptoms. Your lifestyle, stress, sleep, habits and personal circumstances all contribute to the bigger picture.

And sometimes, what you need isn't another generic answer. It's a conversation that allows you to explore your concerns and understand what may be appropriate for you.

As an Ayurveda doctor in Manchester, this is why I value a personalised, human-centred approach to wellbeing.

AI has its place. Technology has its place.
But let's not forget the person behind the symptoms.

Perhaps it's time to look beyond the symptoms.
Discover how an individualised Ayurvedic approach can support your wellbeing.

If you've been curious about Ayurveda and want to explore a more individualised approach to your wellbeing, this is your sign.

Looking forward to welcoming you.

“I wish I’d booked the 90-minute…” 👀
I hear this one a lot.
A 60-minute Marma Abhyanga gives you a beautiful shoulder-to-toe Ayurvedic oil treatment.

But the 90-minute takes you head-to-toe, giving us time to include the head, scalp, face and neck, while allowing the treatment to unfold at a slower, more unhurried pace.

In Ayurveda, the head has its own significance, and traditional head oiling practices have been used as part of Ayurvedic self-care for centuries.

So those extra 30 minutes?
They’re not simply about more time on the table.
They give us the space to experience more of the Ayurvedic ritual.

And if you’re wondering whether to book 60 or 90…
Just remember what they tell me afterwards. 😉
“I wish I’d booked the 90.”

Looking forward to welcoming you.

I started my Master of Research because I wanted Ayurveda to make sense.

I wanted to understand the why behind what practitioners have observed for centuries.

But working with patients taught me something unexpected:
Sometimes, the most interesting part of a consultation isn’t the symptom itself.

It’s what we notice when we slow down enough to listen.
A change in breathing.
An unexpected emotion.
A sensation that appears during treatment.
A story that suddenly surfaces.

I don’t see these moments as “proof” of anything.
I see them as questions worth exploring.

That’s the kind of Ayurveda I practise, rooted in traditional wisdom, approached with curiosity, and informed by a research mindset.

Most people think muscle is built by eating more protein.

But Ayurveda sees it differently.
Your body doesn’t “use” nutrition just because you consume it.
It first has to digest, transport, and transform it through the Sapta Dhatu system.

If your Agni (digestive fire) is weak, if your lymphatic flow is stagnant, if your circulation is sluggish…

Even the best diet won’t properly reach your muscle tissue.

Muscle (Mamsa Dhatu) is not built at the level of food intake. It is built at the level of internal flow and transformation.

Fix the system first. Then nutrition actually becomes strength.

I see this in my practice so often that I thought it was worth sharing…

When I asked about her routine, she proudly said,
"I only drink herbal tea."
Mint.
Ginger.
Chamomile.
Tumeric.
Fennel.
From morning until bedtime.
She thought: More herbs = more healing.

Here's what surprised her...
In Ayurveda, herbs are medicine.
Medicine is not meant to be consumed endlessly simply because it's natural.
Just as you wouldn't take vitamins every hour, you shouldn't assume every herbal tea is suitable all day, every day.

Many people believe herbal tea is just flavoured water.
It isn't.
Every herb has its own qualities.
Some warm the body.
Some cool it.
Some dry tissues.
Some stimulate digestion.
Some calm the nervous system.
Every cup is having an effect.

When you drink 4-10 cups every day, you're repeatedly exposing your body to the same medicinal compounds.
Over time, this may not create balance.
It may actually move you further away from it.
In Ayurveda we always ask:
Is this herb right for YOU? Not simply, Is this herb healthy?

I often see people drinking the same tea every single day for months.
Examples include: • Peppermint after every meal.
• Ginger all day.
• Chamomile morning and night.
• Detox teas every afternoon.
Even beneficial herbs deserve respect.

The Ayurvedic approach is different.
Instead of asking,
"What's the healthiest tea?"
We ask,
• What's your constitution?
• What's happening in your body today?
• What's the season?
• What are you trying to correct?
The same herb can help one person and aggravate another.

Most days, your body doesn't need a constant stream of herbs.
Often, plain warm water is exactly what your digestion, tissues and metabolism need between meals.
Simple doesn't mean less healing.
Sometimes simple is the medicine.

Herbal tea isn't unhealthy.
Overusing anything can become unhelpful, even something natural.
The goal isn't to drink more herbs.
The goal is to create more balance.
✨ Healing isn't about doing more.
It's about doing what's right for your body.

She was doing everything she was supposed to do, yet her body stayed tense, tired, and quietly uncomfortable.

The kind of pain you learn to live with. The kind of fatigue that doesn’t have a clear name.

She didn’t come looking for answers. She came looking for ease.

After 6 weeks of weekly Ayurveda Acupressure Massage, she felt like a different person.

When the body is given the right support, it doesn’t need to be forced. It remembers how to soften, how to rest, how to heal.

Sometimes, “nothing is wrong” just means the body has been carrying too much for too long.

Have you ever wondered why Ayurvedic massage feels different from a regular massage?

In Ayurveda, the body is understood through Sapta Dhatu, the seven tissues that support nourishment, strength, structure, and vitality.

Through personalised herbal oils, rhythmic strokes, pressure techniques, and mindful touch, Ayurvedic massage is traditionally used to care for the body layer by layer:

- Supporting nourishment and softness
- Encouraging warmth and circulation
- Relaxing muscles and releasing tension
- Creating grounding and balance
- Supporting comfort around joints
- Calming the nervous system
- Promoting deep relaxation and vitality

Ayurvedic massage is not just about working on where you feel tension, it is a complete self-care ritual that reconnects you with your body.
