❤️ WHAT IF YOUR CHARITY OF THE YEAR COULD HELP SOMEONE HAVE A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE? ❤️

As you start planning for 2027, we’re asking businesses, organisations, schools and community groups to think beyond fundraising targets and charity partnerships.

What if your support could help give someone a NEW START in life?

At New Start Charity, transplantation here at Wythenshawe hospital is at the heart of what we support. Behind every transplant is a person. A family. A future filled with possibilities. A life that deserves every chance.

For someone waiting for a transplant, hope can mean everything. And for someone who has received one, it can mean the opportunity to live, love and look forward to a future they may once have feared they wouldn’t have.

This is more than choosing a charity. It’s choosing to make a difference that truly matters.

By choosing New Start Charity as your Charity of the Year for 2027, you could help us support transplantation and bring hope to people whose lives can be changed forever.

From fundraising challenges and team events, to workplace campaigns and community initiatives, every effort can help us move closer to a future where more people get the chance of a new beginning.

✨ Imagine ending 2027 knowing your team didn’t just raise money, you helped support a cause that gives people hope for tomorrow.

Let’s make 2027 a year of hope, purpose and new beginnings.

📩 Get in touch to explore how we could work together.

Everyone deserves the chance of a new start.

❤️ Meet Elise – Our First Volunteer at New Start! ❤️

We’re delighted to introduce Elise, our first volunteer, who will be working closely with Lisa, our Charity Lead, to help make a real difference to transplant patients and their families.

Elise brings not only passion and enthusiasm to the New Start team, but also a very personal connection to our cause. Following her own heart transplant in August 2025, she understands first-hand the life-changing impact of the care and support provided by Wythenshawe Transplant Centre.

As our Corporate Engagement Officer, Elise is passionate about raising awareness of New Start’s work, building relationships with businesses, exploring sponsorship opportunities and encouraging corporate involvement through fundraising, partnerships and employee engagement.

Outside of her role, Elise is also one of our transplant athletes, taking part in the British and World Transplant Games. Through her own journey and social media, she actively promotes organ donation and raises awareness of life after transplant. 🏅

We’re so excited to welcome Elise as she works alongside Lisa to develop new opportunities, strengthen partnerships and help secure vital support for Wythenshawe Transplant Centre.

Every transplant journey is unique, and Elise’s story is a powerful reminder of why the work we do matters so much. ❤️

Welcome to the team, Elise! We’re thrilled to have you on board and look forward to everything we’ll achieve together.

❤️ What a lovely evening on Wythenshawe FM! 🎙️✨❤️

A huge thank you to Sarah Milly and Martin Manchester Weather for having me on their show this afternoon. I had so much fun and it was such a wonderful opportunity to talk about our brilliant charity. I especially enjoyed re-living my youth to some 90s dance tunes 🪩

A special thank you, too, to Jean, Amanda and Tony for sending in messages of support. It really meant a lot! 🥰

🚴‍♂️❤️ A HUGE thank you to Elias ❤️ 🚴‍♂️

What an absolute superstar! 🌟 Elias took on his sponsored cycle ride and absolutely SMASHED his fundraising target! We couldn’t be prouder or more grateful for such an incredible effort.

Elias chose to take on this challenge to celebrate his cousin Rachel’s 10th transplant anniversary - what a truly gorgeous and meaningful way to mark such a special milestone 🥹❤️

Reaching 10 years since a transplant is something truly worth celebrating, and Elias has turned that celebration into something that will make a real difference to others.

Thanks to Elias and everyone who has supported him, you’re helping us support future patients and their families, offering hope, care and support when they need it most.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Elias, for your kindness, determination and generosity. And thank you to everyone who donated, cheered him on and helped make this amazing achievement possible.

You’ve made a difference that will reach far beyond the finish line. 🚴‍♂️✨

🎨 More colour, more creativity, and a whole lot of community spirit! ❤️

We absolutely LOVE our new wall murals by the wonderfully talented Myro Doodles! 😍

Myro was given just a few key dates scribbled on a piece of paper and a chat about our wonderful community. No lengthy brief, no pages of instructions … just a little insight into who we are and what makes our community so special.

And look what she created! All at the weekend too, during precious family time✨

The Electric Cranks Cycling Club can’t wait for you to see it during the LVAD cafe next week 🚲 ☕️

In a world that can sometimes feel short on colour, creativity and a little bit of human magic, these murals are a beautiful reminder of what happens when real talent, imagination and connection come together.

At a time when so much is generated by AI, there’s something truly special about work created by a real person, inspired by real people and a real community. Myro, you absolutely understood the brief … and then some! ❤️✨

We couldn’t be happier to see our walls brought to life in such a meaningful, vibrant and joyful way.

What do you think? Has Myro nailed it, or has she nailed it?! 👏🎨

Thank you, Myro, for bringing our community to life in colour ❤️
