🌈 Our stories are making it onto the big screen.

We’re incredibly proud that Give the Gift of Hope has been nominated for the 2026 BIG SYN International Film Festival Charity Films Prize. 🎬💛

The film has also been selected as part of a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals commitment at , the world’s biggest sustainability film festival.

At its heart, Give the Gift of Hope is about the power of hope, standing with LGBTQ+ people and supporting the causes and charities that make a difference to our communities.

We’re thrilled to see that message reaching an international stage. 🏳️‍🌈✨

A huge shout-out to Film On The Brain for bringing this tremendous film to life. 💛

"The thoughts of everyone at LGBT Foundation are with the friends, family and loved ones of Pat Karney.

A dedicated champion for Manchester and its communities, Pat spent decades serving the city he cared so deeply about. He was a long-standing supporter of LGBTQ+ equality, playing a leading role in Manchester City Council's opposition to Section 28 and supporting HIV prevention efforts. His legacy includes standing alongside LGBTQ+ communities during a period when equality could not be taken for granted, and helping lay the foundations for the more inclusive Manchester we know today.

"We are grateful for his contribution to Manchester and extend our heartfelt condolences to all those mourning his loss."

Dr Paul Martin OBE, Chief Executive of LGBT Foundation.

He never expected volunteering to change his life. 💜

"Taking that first step has given me a stronger sense of connection and responsibility to my community."

In our latest blog, Jake Xu shares how volunteering with LGBT Foundation helped him find connection, purpose and belonging.

Today, Jake volunteers as a Board Advisor, using his experience in business, branding and communications to help strengthen our impact.

He's also one of 200+ incredible volunteers who help power our work, making it possible for LGBTQ+ people to access life-saving support, feel less isolated and know they're not alone.

This summer, Winona's story lit up Outernet, bringing q***r hope and joy to the heart of London and millions across the UK.

For some, it may have been a moment of understanding. For one LGBTQ+ person, it may have been the moment they saw themselves in Winona's story and realised they weren't alone.

Refuse to Be Invisible. Share this post and ensure Winona's story, and countless others, are seen, heard and celebrated. 💜

LGBT Foundation: 🌈 Today is the International Day of Older Persons.

It takes less than four minutes to boil a kettle. Spend those same four minutes hearing from older LGBTQ+ people about the rights they fought for, the challenges they faced, and why protecting progress matters now more than ever.

Their courage helped shape the communities, support and freedoms many of us benefit from today.

🎥 Watch, listen and learn how LGBT Foundation is helping LGBTQ+ people, including our incredible older generation, live vibrant, connected and authentic lives.

💜 Help protect the legacy they've built and secure our future.

🤝 If you or your organisation would like to help create a future that LGBTQ+ people can be proud of, we'd love to hear from you.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
