Sometimes, the places we rush past are the very places asking for our attention.
Psychologically, we learn to move away from discomfort. We distract ourselves, stay busy, strive to be better, or tell ourselves we should be over something by now.
But what we resist often continues to ask for our attention.
Try this: the next time you notice yourself wanting to push a feeling away, pause. Take a breath. Get curious about what’s happening inside you, without immediately trying to change it.
What am I feeling?
What might this feeling need from me?
Can I offer myself a little compassion here?
You don’t have to solve every ache or turn every difficult experience into a lesson. Sometimes, healing begins with allowing yourself to be exactly where you are.
This is part of the wisdom of Ta**ra: meeting life as it is, with presence rather than judgement. Making room for the tenderness, the uncertainty, the pleasure & the pain.
Because wholeness isn’t about becoming a version of yourself who never struggles.
It’s about learning to stay connected to yourself, even in the places you once believed you had to hide
