For Act 28 of our campaign, we’re backing Langold FC Under 15s after they took fundraising into their own hands.

The team organised a Lads vs Parents match to raise money for all-weather coats, bringing in an impressive £280 themselves. We loved the effort so much, we’ve added another £250 to help get those winter coats sorted. 🙌

Grassroots football is built on players, parents and volunteers pulling together, and this team has done exactly that.

For Act 27 of our campaign, we’re proud to be supporting Gresley Rovers Ladies FC FC Ladies with a special anniversary kit as they celebrate 30 years of women’s football.
And with Premier Community also marking 30 years, this one felt like a perfect match. 🙌
For three decades, both stories have been built around people, teamwork, confidence and community, so we’re delighted to see our name on the shirts throughout the season.

Act 26 of our campaign, our Kings Mill Mobility Shop team created 10 self-care boxes for people leaving hospital and recovering at home.

Each one was packed with a few simple comforts, including fluffy blankets, tea, biscuits and puzzle books, all put together to make that first bit of recovery feel a little brighter. 🙌

Ten boxes, packed with care, to wish ten people well on the journey home.

30 for 30 | Act 24: Giving blood, giving hope ❤️

25 of our Premier Community team went to donate blood, and 16 of them were giving for the very first time! 🙌

Every donation helps people having surgery, going through cancer treatment, giving birth or living with long-term conditions. One donation can help more than one person.

Caring is what we do every day, and we're proud to take that beyond our clients' homes and into the wider community as we celebrate 30 years.

A huge thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves, and a special well done to our first-timers! 💙

Everyone at Premier Community was saddened to hear that Dame Esther Rantzen has died, aged 86.

In 2013 she founded The Silver Line, a free helpline for older people.

She had seen loneliness in later life for herself and knew how isolating it can be. Many of the people we support at home would recognise what she was fighting against. A friendly voice, a regular chat, and knowing someone cares can make all the difference to a person's wellbeing. Her work matches values we hold close: dignity, connection, and no one being left alone.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends, and with everyone her work has touched.

Act 23 of 30: Laura's 50 miles for Chris 💙

Laura, part of our Premier Community team, is taking on a 50 mile walk this October to raise money for the MND Association. Her son Oliver and her dogs will be walking with her.
She's walking in memory of Chris, Oliver's great-uncle, who died of motor neurone disease in 2025 at just 58. She's also walking for every family living with MND today.

Laura spends her working life helping people in our community live well at home. Now it's our turn to get behind her. We're proud to sponsor Laura as part of our 30 for 30 campaign.

Every day our carers go into homes across the East Midlands to support people. Keeping them well this winter matters to us, so we're encouraging everyone in our team to get their flu jab.

It protects our carers, their families, and the people we visit.

If you're 65 or over, have a long-term health condition, are pregnant or are an unpaid carer, you may be able to get a free flu jab too.
