📣 A little reminder when messaging to book the SafeStim Sensory Van 🌈🚐

We’re getting lots of lovely enquiries at the moment, which is amazing! ❤️ To help me get back to you with the most accurate availability and price, please include as much information as possible in your first message:

📍 Postcode / area
🎉 What is the booking for? – school, nursery, care setting, event, birthday, community day etc.
⏰ How long would you like the van for?
👧🧑 Children, adults or a mixture?
♿ Will wheelchair access be required?
🏫 Are you a school, charity, CIC, local authority, care provider or private booking?
💛 Any additional support or accessibility requirements we should know about?
📅 Preferred date and time

I sometimes receive a message saying, “Can I book the sensory van?” and after a few messages backwards and forwards I discover the booking is in London or Devon! 💔

I would absolutely LOVE to travel all over the country, and who knows what the future might bring! 🌍🚐 But at the moment, SafeStim is still a small SEN-mum-run CIC, so unfortunately we can’t cover every area.

Giving me the details above from the start means I can quickly work out whether we can attend, travel costs if applicable, availability and how we can best support the people attending. 💛

🌈 SafeStim CIC will be at the Wired Differently event tomorrow! 🌈

We’ll be bringing the SafeStim Sensory Van along to Portland College, with the event starting at 10:30am. 💜🧡💚

We’re really looking forward to being part of the day, meeting everyone and letting you experience what SafeStim has to offer! 🥰

Beautiful Hand delivered Calmii Connect Tiles for Safestim CIC 🥰 I’ve been eagerly awaiting for these. 😬 Thank you so much. These products are just a complete game changer for individuals and families. These are tactile communication aids You can use them in the bath, swimming, making Mud pies the list is endless. They are sturdy and most importantly easy clean 🧼

Next on my list is the Now & Next board which is already being used by Education settings 🤩

🌈 It’s been another busy and exciting week for SafeStim CIC! 🌈

This morning we had a fantastic meeting with TTS Resources, discussing their products and the services we can offer through SafeStim. I’m really excited that they’ve offered design support and equipment once we’re able to get the SafeStim Activity Centre & Support Hub off the ground — funding permitting! 🤞😵‍💫🌈

We have also had a meeting with East Midlands Designer Outlet, who are interested in having the SafeStim Sensory Van attend the outlet! 🚐✨

Alongside all of this, we’ve got a busy week of private visits to nurseries, schools and care settings, taking sensory support directly into the community. 💜

It really feels like SafeStim is growing week by week, with more organisations recognising the need for accessible, inclusive sensory support.

Now we just need that all-important funding to help us turn the Activity Centre & Support Hub into a reality! 🤞🤞🤞
