Grounded Connection Counselling I offer 1-1 work from a private and cosy room on the edge of the Peak District National Park in Marsden or we can connect outside in nature.

MBACP Creative & Somatic Counsellor | Psychotherapist | Supervisor | Breathwork Coach
Supporting HSPs, trauma, neurodivergence & grief | Based in Huddersfield & offering online therapy across the UK At Grounded Connection we weave together traditional talking therapies with somatic and creative approaches to draw upon the wisdom of the somatic voice through focusing on the felt-sense, authentic movement, breathwork, vision quests, energy healing, mark marking and writing. I am a humanistic relational practitioner which means that I value co-creative spaces, self-determination and self-discovery. The therapeutic approaches that most inform my work are person-centred, existential and transpersonal. I work holistically with the body, mind and spirit and I believe that we are able to use our instincts to source wisdom, meaning, growth and fulfilment. I offer 1-1 therapies and I hold several wellbeing groups in the community including authentic movement, breathwork, nature connection and inner child bonding. All my offerings are underpinned with heart and a solid foundation in therapeutic theory and trauma awareness. I have further training in trauma informed care, psychoeducation, yoga, shamanism, breathwork and energy healing.

For highly sensitive therapists, supervision isn’t just a professional requirement - it can become a space of restoration, reflection, and gentle return to self.

✨ Supervision for Highly Sensitive Therapists can offer:

🌿 Space to process the emotional and energetic aspects of client work
🌿 Support for overwhelm, burnout, and compassion fatigue
🌿 A place to reconnect with your own rhythm and boundaries
🌿 Reflection on depth, sensitivity, and professional identity
🌿 A grounded space to recharge

Your sensitivity is not too much. It is part of how you listen, perceive, and care.

And it deserves holding too.
