⁉️ 🚨 Is Your Vision Roadworthy 🚨 ⁉️

This week we are supporting a very important campaign…

πŸ‘οΈπŸš˜ UK Vision and Driving Campaign 2026 πŸš˜πŸ‘οΈ

Did you know❓

πŸ‘€ 90% of information a driver uses is visual.

πŸ›ž Motorists are required to meet minimum legal eyesight standards every time they get behind the wheel.

πŸ‘“ Regular eye tests are recommended for all drivers (at least every two years)

🫡🏼 It is your legal responsibility to ensure your eyesight meets the minimum standards for driving:

βœ… Visual Acuity - 6/12

βœ… Number plate test - 20 metres (with glasses if required)

βœ… Visual fields - horizontal field of at least 120 degrees

For the safety of yourself and others it is important that your vision meets the standards for driving!

πŸš—πŸ’™ Annual Driving Review with Lynne πŸ’™πŸš—

This week, we were delighted to welcome Lynne back to Drive Ability North West for her annual review of her driving safety.

Following her diagnosis of dementia in 2024, Lynne has continued to demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to managing her driving. Regular reviews help ensure that drivers remain safe, confident, and independent for as long as possible.

A diagnosis of dementia does not automatically mean an individual has to stop driving. Our assessments provide valuable information and reassurance for drivers, their families, and healthcare professionals.

Following her successful assessment with us this week, we asked Lynne what advice she would give others who may need to visit us, she said;

"The whole set up is designed to allow you to perform at your best"

πŸ‘ Well done, Lynne, and thank you for visiting us this week and for your lovely feedback.
