💚🌈 Some lovely new faces at Glowsticks! 🌈💚
We've had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Ryan, Sam, Harry, Maryam, Ben and Ash to our team recently, and what a lovely few weeks it's been! 🥰
It's been wonderful getting to know everyone, seeing their personalities shine through and watching new friendships form as they've settled into life at Glowsticks. They've each brought something different to the team, and we're so happy to have them with us! 💚
Our brilliant Support Workers, Dani, Bobby and Sue, have all been involved in supporting our newest team members, helping them get stuck in, learn the ropes and feel at home.
And we have to give a huge shout-out to our existing team, both our paid staff and our wonderful long-term volunteers, who have been absolutely fantastic at welcoming everyone, sharing their knowledge and helping with training. It's been so lovely seeing everyone working together and looking out for one another.
A special mention has to go to Charlie, who's still a fairly new face himself but has already taken a few of our newest team members under his wing! 🥹💚 We love seeing our team sharing what they've learned and helping each other along the way.
Of course, they've also joined us in the middle of the usual Glowsticks chaos! 🤣💚 Between the endless banter, questionable singing, random conversations, someone inevitably shouting someone's name across the café and approximately 47 things happening at once, we're not entirely sure whether we're training new team members or just gently introducing them to our very own brand of organised madness! 😂 But they've all fitted right in, which probably says more about them than it does about us! 🌈🤣
One of our favourite things about Glowsticks is the people who make it what it is. The laughs, the friendships, the teamwork, the little moments throughout the day and the way everyone brings their own personality to the place.
Ryan, Sam, Harry, Maryam, Ben and Ash — we're so glad you've joined us! 🥰
