PHYSIFIX UNFILTERED 002 – RECOVERY BOOTS & MASSAGE GUNS
Right, this one might upset a few…👀
Apparently, recovery now involves lying on a bed with £1,000 worth of inflatable trousers attached to your legs.
Or having someone wave a vi****or over your quads.
Revolutionary. 🙄
Now, we’re not saying these things are completely useless. They might reduce soreness, ease stiffness or make you feel better temporarily.
Brilliant. Crack on.
But when did temporary relief become revolutionary rehabilitation?
“Flushes toxins.”
“Accelerates recovery.”
“Speeds up tissue repair.”
Based on what, exactly?
The marketing is certainly more impressive than the evidence behind many of these claims.
And while we’re upsetting people…
If you’re paying for a professional sports massage and someone’s spending the appointment running a massage gun over you, we’d be questioning what you’re actually paying for.
That’s not innovation. That’s lazy therapy.
Fancy equipment, professional athlete endorsements and expensive recovery suites don’t automatically mean effective treatment.
Your injury needs proper assessment, appropriate loading and a rehabilitation plan.
Not just a fancy pair of inflatable trousers 😂
Stop selling temporary relief as rehabilitation.
Agree? Disagree? 👀🪓
