✨ An Evening of Mediumship ✨

I'm delighted to be returning to Halton Spiritualist Church this Wednesday, 21st October, for an evening of mediumship.

I look forward to sharing messages from loved ones in the Spirit World, bringing forward those special connections, memories and evidence that remind us love never dies. ❤️

We Never Walk Alone ❤️

I've always believed that our friends in spirit walk alongside us, quietly supporting us through life's journey.

Recently, during a particularly deep and emotional healing experience, I felt that support in such a beautiful and personal way through my main Spirit Guide.

There were no words or messages. Just the gentle feeling of her standing behind me, her hands gently placed on each side of my upper arms, and an overwhelming sense of just being held.

I felt seen, heard, understood and loved.

It was such a beautiful reminder that, although the inner work is ours to do, we don't have to walk that journey alone.

And of course, that connection doesn't always come through something as tangible as what I experienced.

Sometimes it's a sudden feeling of peace, a quiet knowing, an unexpected sense of comfort or simply a moment of stillness.

It's often in those quieter moments, when we're truly present with ourselves, that we become more aware of the loving support around us and notice things we might otherwise have overlooked.

We don't need to force anything or go searching for extraordinary experiences.

Sometimes the most profound moments are the quietest ones. ❤️

I've been a little off-grid for a while, taking time for myself, learning, reflecting and continuing with my own healing journey. ❤️

This quote was recently shared in a healing group I'm part of, and it really resonated with me.

I've been working through the Foundations of True North Alignment, and it's brought a deeper understanding of myself and the importance of connecting with my heart and being in presence.

Life takes us down so many different paths. Some beautiful, others painful, and some we would never have chosen for ourselves.

Along the way, our experiences shape us. We learn to adapt, protect ourselves, be strong and keep going. Sometimes, without even realising it, we lose touch with ourselves.

We can spend so much time caught up in our thoughts, revisiting the past, worrying about the future or trying to make sense of everything, that we forget what it feels like to simply be present.

And that's something I've been exploring more deeply. Learning to recognise when I'm truly present, connected with my heart, and when old patterns and protective responses are taking me away from that place.

I'm coming to understand that healing isn't about fixing something broken within us.

It's about recognising what has always been there, beneath the layers of everything we've experienced and learnt to believe about ourselves.

Perhaps that's the beauty of this journey. Even the paths that seemed to take us furthest away from ourselves can eventually lead us home.

Back to our hearts. Back to presence. Back to ourselves. ❤️

When Experience Becomes Trust

I read something recently about certainty and uncertainty in mediumship and it really got me thinking.

I do question things at times. I think we should. None of us really knows exactly how mediumship works.

But for me, one of the things that has always made it feel so real is the physical side of what I experience.

I’ve always been very aware of physical touch. I can feel someone standing next to me, feel someone touch me, tap me on the shoulder and sometimes their presence can feel so real that it’s almost as though they are physically there.

Only last night, I was in bed and had just switched the light off to go to sleep when I very distinctly felt someone stand up from the edge of the bed beside me.

But it was the feeling that came with it that stayed with me.

It felt as though someone I loved, and who loved me, had been sitting there beside me, just watching over me. Then, when I switched the light off and settled down to sleep, they simply got up and left.

It was lovely. Nothing frightening or strange. Just a really gentle feeling that someone had been there with me.

It reminded me of something that happened when my father-in-law was at the end of his life.

We were with him at the hospital every day for over a week and would sometimes pop over to my sister’s to have something to eat before going back.

On one of those occasions, we were sitting chatting after we'd eaten when I suddenly felt someone squeeze my arm.

I knew straight away that it was his mum, who had passed when he was only a young boy, and I knew she was telling me we needed to get back to the hospital.

It happened more than once during that week. I would feel that same squeeze and know we needed to go back.

And a couple of times when we did, we found that he had been left on his own and was struggling.

That was a real eye-opener for me.

I’ve experienced that same physical closeness with my own mum too.

After I’d had surgery and was at home recuperating, I felt her gently stroking my hair while I was resting.

Another time during my recovery, I was semi-asleep when I became aware of her sitting on the bed beside me, gently stroking my back. The sensation was so real that it actually woke me up.

I knew it was my mum.

These are just a few of the experiences I’ve had over the years. There have been many others.

Can I explain exactly how it happens? No.

Do I know everything there is to know about mediumship and the spirit world? Absolutely not. I’m still learning, questioning and remaining curious.

But I know what I have experienced.

And for me, those experiences have confirmed something that I’ve come to trust very deeply...

Our loved ones are never far away.

They may no longer be here in the physical way we once knew them, but that doesn’t mean the connection or the love has gone.

Sometimes we may feel them. Sometimes we may sense them. Sometimes something happens that we simply cannot explain.

And sometimes, perhaps, they're just quietly sitting beside us.

And I think that’s where so much of my trust in my mediumship has come from. Not from having all the answers, but from the experiences themselves.

I can still question. I can still be curious. In fact, I hope I always am.

But I can question how something happens without questioning the experience itself.

And perhaps you’ve experienced something similar — a touch, the feeling of someone sitting beside you, a familiar scent, or simply that unmistakable sense that someone you love is close.

Sometimes we don't need to understand the how to appreciate what that moment meant to us.

Have you ever experienced something like this from someone you love who has passed?

With love
Carmela 💚

I realised recently that although a lot of people know me for my Psychic and Mediumistic Readings, they don't necessarily know about everything else I do.
People come to me for all sorts of reasons. Some have lost someone they love and want that connection with Spirit. Others come because something is going on in their life and they're looking for some clarity or guidance.
It's often through these sessions and conversations that I start to recognise patterns, unresolved emotions or something deeper that may need looking at.
My own healing journey has taken me down many different paths over the years too. I've explored, trained and continued learning in different healing and therapeutic modalities, and naturally that has become part of the work I now do with others.
Sometimes someone knows exactly what they want to work on. Other times they don't — they just know that something isn't quite right, keeps repeating, or needs to change. And that's okay too. We start with where you are.
So I thought I'd put everything together in one place. ❤️

It’s been a busy week of readings and connection, and I’m always grateful when a client takes the time to leave such a heartfelt review.
Thank you, Donna. 🙏

THE MASKS WE WEAR

We all wear masks at different times in our lives, often without even realising we're doing it.

Sometimes we create them because we want to fit in, to be accepted or loved. We become who we think other people want us to be, perhaps because somewhere underneath there's a fear that who we really are isn't enough.

But I've also seen another kind of mask.

The person who appears happy, confident and completely fine on the outside, while underneath they're carrying an enormous amount of pain.

Sometimes that comes from difficult experiences. Sometimes from hurt that has never really been expressed or healed. And sometimes there's a much deeper struggle with self-worth and loving themselves.

Through my work with clients, I've often intuitively felt that difference.

Someone can be smiling, laughing and telling me they're fine, yet energetically I can feel something very different underneath. And as we begin talking and gently exploring what's really going on, another part of them starts to emerge.

The part that's tired.

The part that's hurting.

The part that's been holding everything together for everyone else.

The part that perhaps hasn't felt able to say, actually, I'm not okay.

And I don't see those masks as something to judge.

Very often they've been protection.

They've helped us cope, function, belong or get through periods of our lives when being completely open or vulnerable didn't feel safe.

But there can come a time when the mask that once protected us begins to disconnect us from ourselves.

Authenticity isn't about telling everyone everything or exposing our vulnerabilities to people who haven't earned our trust. We can be authentic and still have healthy boundaries.

It's about being honest with ourselves.

Recognising what we're really feeling.
Knowing who we are beneath everything we've learned to present to the world.
And gradually becoming comfortable enough within ourselves that we don't have to keep pretending to be someone we're not.

Perhaps the deeper question is not simply:

What mask am I wearing?

But...

What is that mask protecting — and what might I find underneath if I finally felt safe enough to take it off?

When we lose someone we love, we don’t only remember them on birthdays, anniversaries or the day they passed. They become part of our everyday thoughts and our lives in a different way.

And through my work as a medium, I’m constantly reminded that the connection doesn’t simply end when someone leaves the physical world.

Time and time again in readings, I witness just how aware our loved ones are of what is happening in our lives. The changes we’re going through, the things we worry about, the happy moments and the times when we’re struggling. I also see how much they still want to help, encourage and support those they love here in the physical world.

I think this is one of the most comforting parts of the work I do. To witness someone realise that the person they love is still very much aware of them and their life, and that the love and support they shared hasn’t simply disappeared.

There can be something incredibly reassuring in knowing that although we can no longer have that person beside us physically, the connection remains. The love, encouragement and support can still be felt in a different way.

We don’t need a special day to remember those we love. They remain part of our everyday lives... and from what I’m privileged to witness through my work, we remain very much a part of theirs too.

With love
Carmela ❤️
