Donations Needed for the Reach Newark Christmas Auction

We're looking for donations for the Reach Newark Christmas Auction on 2 December at St Mary Magdalene Parish Church, Newark.

🚣‍♀️ What a day on the water! 💙

One of the highlights of our Lake District holiday had to be canoeing on beautiful Bassenthwaite Lake. With two groups heading out on Sunday, both our morning and afternoon paddlers were treated to calm waters, stunning scenery and picture-perfect views in every direction. 🌿⛰️

By choosing Reach as your local cause in the Co-op app, you'll help fund our cooking courses, where adults with learning disabilities learn practical life skills, make new friends and improve their confidence, health and wellbeing.

A big thank you to Gemma from Thistle and Sketch for leading a lovely, relaxed evening of painting for our family carers. 🎨✨

Organised by Sarah Wagstaff, our Carers Manager, the session was a wonderful opportunity for carers to take some time for themselves, switch off from day-to-day pressures and be fully present in the moment.

As well as getting creative, carers had the chance to relax, unwind and connect with others who understand the experiences and challenges of caring for a loved one with a learning disability.
