Over 4.2 million older adults in the UK live alone, and this number continues to grow. For many, living alone can put them at risk of feeling isolated – which in turn can impact both physical and mental health.
Studies such as the social frailty study being discussed during the visit to our Chieveley class on Thursday (29th) by the NHS Be Part of Research team (South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust) and Connecting Communities in Berkshire will provide valuable insight into how we can address this growing issue together.
Everyone is welcome.💙 Chieveley Village Hall. The special research vehicle will be outside the hall throughout the day and you can chat to the team there. Our class will run from 11 am - 12 pm, which team members will join. You're welcome to do either.
