📣 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
Due to the massive influx of AI generated tattoo designs, I really do have to say something on this, and while I do appreciate the level of artistry it can create and bring your ideas to life, 90% of the time they are just not possible to do. AI has seemed to bring a complete change to the tattoo industry. Not only have I seen impossible AI generated tattoo designs from clients, but I’m now having to cater to a clientele that have been misled with other artists, as the images online have been altered to an impossible standard, and the client has realised this AFTER the tattoo has been completed, putting trust that the artist is fully transparent in what they are showing online, the only advice I can give to this is PLEASE see the artists work in person if you can, in real life.
I love my work and what I do and the style and format, I love clients coming to me because they’ve seen work I have completed.
Sending me impossible AI tattoos puts me under a different kind of pressure especially when I’m getting an influx of these designs and I don’t want to come off as ignorant by telling someone it cannot be done.
I love the idea of consultations and bringing someone’s ideas to life, drawing different variations and the customer leaving happier once the tattoo is completed and thats the way I would like my studio to continue operating and I’m sure a lot of artists are in the same boat, so please if you are using AI for tattoo design ideas please be realistic or even print it out for size reference, just for a visual reference of what it would actually look like with proportions etc.
Again, thank you to all my wonderful clientele for trusting me with your ideas and artwork, for the recommendations and for the continued support!
