Tonight I did a thing.
As a yoga teacher you’ll probably find it a bit strange when I tell you….
I went to yoga.

If YOU’re a yoga teacher, you’ll probably get it 1000%!?

Because when you teach it, you often forget to practise it. I’m SO lucky I got to join in with one of my graduates’ classes tonight. Olivia | Hatha Yoga Teacher ☀︎ ☽ held me in that space just like I’d expect her to: artfully, kindly & with humour. She’s a born natural, that one. (Tuesdays 6:45pm 😉)

What new me away MORE than actually making time for myself was just how much I’d missed being this side of the session. It was humbling (I needed props for my achy old hip) It was beautiful (I cried) It was healing (full props to Olivia but she was channelling, for sure, the healing powers of yoga) and it gave me what yoga is meant to.

Abs of steel?
NO!!!!!!!!
Peace. I was praying with my body, in full surrender and I came home to my physical self, wherein I glimpsed my soul self. That. Is. Yoga.
