What’s on at Deaf First in October??
Have a look 👀👀⬇️
Saturday - 2-4pm history community day. Come and bring your photos and memorabilia. A classic car lodge is meeting at the same time, so there may be some classic cars to look around too.

6pm-11pm social club with German whist

23rd October - we are trialing Corby community day.
From 11am-3pm at Freemason hall, the Acadia rooms, 27 Rockingham Road, Corby, NN17 1AD
Includes buffet, tea, coffee and biscuits for £2.50 entry (cash) £2.55 by card (5p extra to cover bank charges)

Who knew there was once a Deaf school in Northampton many years ago?? 😳
Want to learn more? Then come to our second Deaf community history day on Saturday 17th October 2-4pm and share your photos and stories.
Then maybe stay for social club in the evening and German whist? Or just catch up with friends? 👋🏼
There might also be some classic cars around too that day! 👀👀

Funeral Details for Dawn Chapman

For members of our Deaf First community who knew Dawn and would like to pay their respects, her funeral will take place on:

📅 Thursday 8th October
🕓 4.00pm
📍 Nene Valley Crematorium, Wellingborough

Dawn was a much-loved wife to Ron and a familiar and valued part of our community. Our thoughts and love are very much with Ron, Luke, Wendy and all of Dawn’s family at this incredibly sad time.

Rest in peace, Dawn. You will be very much missed. ❤️
