A World Menopause Day gift for our Menopause Friendly community. 💜

Today we’re launching the Menopause and Menstruation Friendly Collective 2026, a new resource created for our members to use and share across their organisations.

Inside, we’ve brought together practical ideas, expert insight and real-world examples to help keep the conversation moving beyond awareness and into meaningful workplace action.

There are articles on , Menopause Action Plans, leadership, menstrual health, research and workplace support, alongside case studies from organisations already putting this work into practice.

The aim is simple: to give our members something useful they can take back into their workplaces, share with colleagues and use to spark conversations, ideas and further action.

And because World Menopause Day is about more than one day, we hope the Collective becomes a resource you return to throughout the year.

Our flipbook gives you a little preview of what’s inside… but members can access the full Collective through their membership.

Some of the most important workplace support happens quietly. Every six weeks, this colleague opens a virtual menopause support call. Some people join with questions ready. Others arrive unsure, camera off, not quite knowing what they want to say yet, and that’s OK. 💜

What matters is that there is a space where people can listen, talk openly, ask difficult questions and know they won’t be judged. Over time, that space has grown into a community. People come back, recommend it to others and bring colleagues with them. For some, the biggest moment is simply realising that what they are experiencing is real, that there is support available and that they are not alone. 🤝

As this colleague puts it, taking menopause seriously isn’t only about having the right words in a policy. It’s about what happens when somebody needs you. That’s a . 💝

Sometimes the moments that matter are the ones that show just how far workplace culture has come. 💜

For this colleague, being able to talk openly about perimenopause at work without feeling embarrassed or judged has made a real difference, particularly on the days when symptoms are more difficult to manage.

Having a hybrid role and flexible hours means she can work from home or shorten her day when she needs to, then make up the time when she is feeling better.

But her was something much smaller. While attending one of our Henpicked lunchtime seminars in the office, her headphones unexpectedly disconnected just as the word “menopause” was being said, sending the sound through the speakers in a busy office. For a moment, she felt embarrassed, but people simply looked up, looked back down and carried on with what they were doing.

There no comments or awkward reactions. There was nothing to make her feel that menopause was something she needed to hide. As she put it, “It was only a small thing, but it really demonstrated how accepting and comfortable everyone is

Creating a Menopause Friendly workplace is about practical support, policies and flexibility, but it is also about building a culture where conversations around menopause feel normal and people don’t have to worry about being judged for having them. 💜

Sometimes support is about noticing what someone needs without making them feel exposed. 💜

In this story, a manager spotted that a colleague was struggling with sudden hot flashes during a meeting. Instead of drawing attention to it, they suggested a short break for everyone. That small decision gave her the space she needed to reset, without feeling singled out or embarrassed.

It’s a good reminder that menopause support at work doesn’t always have to be complicated. Awareness, empathy and a little thought can make a huge difference to how supported someone feels.

What’s a small action you’ve seen make a big difference in the workplace? 🧐

Sometimes a begins with someone noticing that something isn’t right. 💜

During a meeting, this colleague was left feeling embarrassed and exposed when a senior manager commented on her menopause symptoms in front of others. She left the meeting upset and anxious about coming back to work in case it happened again.

But another manager had noticed what happened.

They checked in afterwards, listened to how she felt and helped her recognise that she shouldn’t have to put up with people making fun of something she had no control over.

That conversation became the starting point for something much bigger. Together, they began conversations about menopause in the workplace, which led to practical changes in their approach and policy, greater awareness and better support for colleagues.

A moment that initially left one person feeling small became a catalyst for positive change for others. It’s a powerful reminder of the difference one person can make simply by noticing, listening, believing and taking action.

Have you ever seen one conversation lead to a wider change in your workplace? 💜

Sometimes one person’s support can change far more than one working day. 🤝

Nine months into a new role, this colleague began experiencing debilitating perimenopause symptoms, including severe anxiety. She was nervous about telling her manager and asking for support, but what happened next made all the difference.

Her manager listened, signposted her to available company resources, reduced her workload, encouraged her to take some time off and continued to check in afterwards. That support helped her return to work feeling better, but it also sparked something bigger.

After speaking to colleagues in other teams, she realised not everyone had experienced the same level of understanding. So she decided to do something about it.

She approached the team responsible for one of the organisation’s wellbeing programmes and helped establish a menopause community. Eighteen months later, that community has more than 100 members, including men and women, and continues to grow.

One supportive manager. One conversation. One person deciding to create better support for others; that’s a .

Sometimes the impact of workplace menopause support reaches much further than we might expect...🤩

Across this organisation, trained Menopause and Menstruation Champions are creating spaces where colleagues and contractors can ask questions, access resources and talk openly about menopause and menstruation.

At one recent session, more than 20 people stopped to engage after initially saying “No thanks”, with several continuing the conversation afterwards. One of those conversations had an especially meaningful impact.

A male associate shared that what he learned helped him better understand and support his wife through menopause. That greater understanding helped them navigate a difficult period in their relationship and, in turn, enabled him to feel more focused and engaged at work. He is now continuing those conversations with other men across the business.

That’s a as one conversation can lead to another. One person learning more can help someone else feel better supported. And little by little, that is how workplace cultures change.

Who are the people helping to keep these conversations going in your organisation? 💬

Sometimes, the moment that matters is simply being heard. When this colleague began experiencing perimenopausal symptoms, brain fog, anxiety and fluctuating symptoms started to affect her confidence at work. At times, even explaining what she needed became difficult. 😞

What changed things was having a manager who listened. Someone who took the time to understand, adapted her workload when it was needed and made sure she could take adequate breaks on particularly challenging days. She was also signposted towards existing support, including a menopause café and peer support group. 🤝

Those actions helped her regain her confidence and feel valued at a time when she had been considering leaving her job.

That’s why good menopause support isn’t about assuming what someone needs or having one solution for everyone. It starts with a conversation, listening properly and being prepared to respond to the individual in front of you.

For Menopause Awareness Month, we’re sharing because sometimes it’s the individual conversations and practical actions that people remember most. 💕

What has been a in your workplace? Perhaps it was something a manager said, an adjustment that made your day easier, or simply knowing somebody was there to listen. Please tell us your story...👇

We’re delighted to see our founder, Deborah Garlick MBA, featured in the October Menopause Issue of Top Santé magazine. 🤩

Deborah appears in the Women Supporting Women article on page 52, talking about something that sits right at the heart of everything we do: menopause in the workplace.

It’s brilliant to see workplace menopause support being given space in a national magazine, helping to keep the conversation visible and encouraging more people to think about what meaningful support can look like at work.

For us, this is about more than awareness. It’s about helping employers move from understanding to action, creating workplaces where people feel supported, listened to and able to thrive.

A huge thank you to Top Santé for including Deborah in this important feature. If you pick up the October issue, turn to page 52 and read all about it! 🤓

What an incredible day. 🏆💜

Yesterday, we came together across London, Nottingham and Liverpool for the 2026 Menopause and Menstruation Friendly Employer Event and Awards, and what a day it was.

So many conversations. So much shared learning. Plenty of celebrations. And, most importantly, a room full of people committed to making workplaces better when it comes to menopause, menstruation and menstrual health.

To everyone who joined us, thank you. You brought the energy, shared your experiences, made new connections and helped make the day what it was.

And to all our finalists and winners, congratulations! Did you take an award back to the office? We’d love to see where it ended up. 🏆

We also want to hear from everyone who attended. What was your biggest takeaway from the day? Who did you meet? What conversation stayed with you? And please share your photos with us so we can see the Awards through your eyes too. Thank you to those of you who have - you might spot some here!

A huge thank you as well to our hosts, Boots UK, HSBC UK, and Rathbones, and everyone who helped make three simultaneous events possible. We couldn’t have done it without you.

For now, we’re going to enjoy looking back at just a few of yesterday’s moments! 💜
