One year. 365 days of building, breaking down, learning, and rebuilding.
This week marks one year of The Transformation Network, one year since putting out the first call for acts for Let’s Celebrate Showcase (with our 4th showcase happening tomorrow!), and my 34th birthday.
Looking back at this past year, both businesses have pushed me to adapt, pivot, and realign with both gut instinct and smart business sense:
♡ Let’s Celebrate Showcase transitioned into its own CIC. It exists purely for our incredible Nottingham creative community. I want nothing from it other than the absolute joy of watching local artists thrive.
♡ The Transformation Network is sharpening its focus directly toward empowering women in business. Nothing lights me up more than helping women realize what they are truly capable of building.
Doing all of this while working a demanding full-time job meant investing heavily in growth, viewing zero setbacks as failures, and treating every twist as a masterclass.
Personally, this year demanded even more resilience. I finally took a leap to invest in a major personal health goal—recovery tested me, but doing something entirely for myself was worth every single moment. I also made the heartbreaking, necessary decision to step out of a 10-year relationship that anchored my entire adult life. Relearning who I am on my own, rebuilding my trust in myself, and proving that I can stand tall solo has been the hardest and most empowering thing I’ve ever done.
I almost hesitated to share something this raw, but authentic businesses are built by real humans. We don’t talk enough about celebrating our own survival and our own wins.
Thank you to every collaborator, client, friend, and follower who has shared a post, bought a ticket, or cheered from the sidelines. Your support means more than you know.
I am walking into 34 fully owning who I am, clear on where I’m going, and all in.
Life is too short to play small.
Let’s go. ✨
