💙 Looking to better understand your Autism diagnosis and connect with others?

Join Autistic Nottingham’s six-week course, led by two Autistic facilitators trained as Autism Peer Support Workers.

Together, we’ll explore understanding your diagnosis, health and self-care, relationships, friendships, and your rights and available support—with time to reflect and consider your next steps.

📅 Saturdays, 7th November–12th December
🕐 1pm–3pm
📍 Join in person at our Nottingham city centre offices or virtually.

🎟️ One ticket covers the full six-session course. Sessions cannot be booked individually.

🪑 Could you help furnish our therapy room?

We’re creating a comfortable, welcoming therapy space at Autistic Nottingham and would love your help! 💛

Our main priorities are:

• Two compact, comfortable armchairs — ideally around 65–75 cm wide.
• A small round coffee table— around 40–50 cm across.

These things would also be helpful:

• A rug — ideally around **120 × 170 cm**, but smaller sizes down to approximately **60 × 100 cm**
• A computer monitor
• A Bluetooth speaker
• A lamp with warm lighting
• A small side table
• Washable cushions and a blanket
• Quiet sensory items and a storage basket
• A silent clock
• Coat hooks
• Calming artwork

If you have something you’d like to donate, please message us with a photo and measurements so we can check it will fit before arranging a donation. Upholstered furniture should be clean, in good condition and have its fire-safety labels attached.

Or we have made an amazon wish list of some items as well; https://ow.ly/ZquV50ZVtFE

Please share this post to help us make the room ready to welcome people. Thank you! 💛
