I’m sharing Lila’s birth story here in honour of all the women and their positive birth stories that I devoured in the last few month of my pregnancy.
I share it in hope that it may bring positivity to someone else, somewhere. Positivity is contagious. So is fear. I chose wisely what I let into our space especially once Lila became ‘overdue’.

I found pregnancy overall challenging, I was incredibly sick up until 16 weeks, not being able to leave the house or eat much at all. I felt such strong aversions to nearly everything, one day it was dust !! I was so relieved when the nausea and vomiting stopped.

The second trimester had other challenges with additional growth scans and being referred to fetal medicine as Lila’s head was measuring small, we were discharged with them around 35 weeks. I knew in my bones that she was healthy and in hindsight the additional scans were not necessary.

I enjoyed the third trimester the most, I felt my strength and magic take shape, I felt for the first time I could listen to my inner wisdom and do the work to take responsibility to have the birth I wanted.

A home birth is what I always wanted before I even knew I would have Lila, an unexpected (nearly) free birth is what I got! I honour myself for my capacity and strength and I honour Lila’s spirit for choosing how she wanted to enter the world, birth is truly the ultimate act of reciprocity!

As my daughter, Lila approaches 9 months, I feel the arrival of integration shaping my new skin. I sense a ripening, a becoming as I begin to embody my role as Mother. The full moon, the full bloom.

I devoted the last 15 years of my life to walking myself home, this path has journeyed many twists and turns, eventually I committed to healing my red thread ~ the spiral of women’s work and rites of passage, it has undeniably supported me to prepare for this season of life of sacred work, creation and service.

A week a or so ago I asked on my stories ‘do you know what healing the red is/means’ ? No one replied it and it made me feel inspired to share the message of this work, I would have gone completely uninitiated into motherhood without walking this path.

The red thread is a path of repairing our ancestry and remembering the wisdom within our (women’s) bodies and cycles from menarche to menopause.
It is a reclamation of inner power and connection to the Earth, this work is shared within circle and community. We become initiated by being witnessed and honoured in whatever and however life meets us in these moments, whether we are at a big threshold or in the mundane.
There is no hierarchy, the circle is the thread that weaves mending and connection.

In the coming months I’m holding circles that weaves some of this work, I’m not committing to offering anything ‘big’ in the near future as I plan to tend to my family and settle more and more into this new season of life. However, my prayer is to hold a thread of connection with women of past, present and future to preserve this lineage.

Yoni Shakti Circles are back, with a similar feel as before but not quite the same!

These circles will be 2 hours long with the majority of time devoted to movement - therapeutic yoga and intuitive led movement inspired by the needs and lens of feminine physiology, supporting cyclical wisdom, nourishment and creativity.

This offering will provide a space to nurture your body’s wisdom and power, and to build connections of healthy sisterhood within sacred circle.

As well as movement I’ll be creating moments to be with beauty, magic and rest, through various practices and rituals.

These circles are open to women of all ages and non binary with a womb space.

Hannah at The Yoga Village has held me through pregnancy and postpartum, it feels good to share it with you. It’s in the Sherwood community centre and has free parking.

A little note to share that I’m checking out of this space for the foreseeable future, life calls me to gather the greatest harvest yet.

Tending to the threshold I’m walking through is asking every part of me to be present with my heart and listen quietly to my soul.

This space will be evolving at some point who knows when and what ~ in the most perfect time, I know that much.

Through the great pain of stretching
Beyond all that pain has taught me
The soft well as the base has opened
And life touching me there

These words are being shared with the intention of calling in 2 more sister for ‘The Gathering’ a Rose dieta I’m holding beginning on the 22nd August for one lunar cycle.

So many of us are beckoned by the heart and spirit of Rose, perhaps because her frequency vibrates at 310 MHz, this being one of the highest amongst living things. On average human beings vibrate at 62-72 MHz.

Her essence provides deep healing for the Heart, clearing grief and softening to trust and open again protected by her thorns (boundaries), and for the Womb aiding as an aphrodisiac, nurturing authentic sensuality.

Her symbolism of beauty and divinity are found in nearly every culture signifying the power of the feminine heart and energy.

Whilist working very intimately with this plant early on this year I found myself transported to a temple where I had embodied my own divinity, this timeline was not from the past or parallel. It was a magical doorway that opened up in this 3D world right in my human heart and body.
I have now integrated that it was and is a deep desire.

Rose speaks to me about self worth and reverence, healing the parts we often condemn ourselves for wanting to be, she grants us the way of beauty and desire.

I had to stop this diet with her quite abruptly due to life events, I’m so excited to begin again.

Happy 1 year anniversary to my beloved 🌹

One year ago under the Mandap we bound our Souls for 7 lifetimes into marriage with the blessings of Lord Ganesha and the fire as our witness, symbolically honoured as Goddess Laksmi and Lord Vishnu for one day and night.

It was and will always be the most treasured day of my life 🥲🌹🤍
