What a fantastic start to our Practitioner Diploma in Hypnotherapy! 💙✨

This weekend, we welcomed our new students to MindWorks Therapy Training for the very first module of their journey towards becoming qualified hypnotherapists.

And what a weekend it was!

We asked our students to describe their first weekend, and here's what they said:

At MindWorks, we believe that learning hypnotherapy should be more than sitting in a classroom listening to theory.

It's about experiencing hypnosis, practising techniques, asking questions, building confidence and discovering just how much you're capable of.

And that's exactly what our students have been doing this weekend!

A huge thank you to our wonderful students for bringing such enthusiasm, curiosity and openness to their learning, and to Susan Grainger for her support and professionalism throughout the weekend.

Of course, the journey doesn't end when students receive their diploma. Our graduates can become part of the MindWorks Guild of Practitioners, providing ongoing CPD, support and a professional community as they develop their practice.

We intentionally keep our training groups small.

It gives people space to ask questions, practise, get individual feedback and actually get to know the people they’re learning alongside. That atmosphere is a big part of what makes the training feel supportive rather than overwhelming.

Our next group starts on Saturday 10th October, and there’s still room for a couple more people.

Every student’s journey through hypnotherapy training looks a little different.

Some begin with a clear idea of where they want the qualification to take them. Others simply know they’re ready for something new.

Along the way, they don’t just learn the theory and practical skills needed to become a hypnotherapy practitioner. They often discover more about themselves too, building confidence, challenging old beliefs and beginning to see possibilities they may not have considered before.

That’s one of the things we love most about watching our students progress through MindWorks.

You do not need to arrive on the first training weekend feeling completely confident.
Most people don’t.

Confidence develops as your knowledge develops. Each module builds on the one before it, giving you more understanding, more opportunities to practise and more experience using what you have learned. Bit by bit, the pieces begin to connect.

Think of it like scaffolding. We build the foundations first, then keep adding to them until you feel much more secure in what you’re doing.

And you’re not starting from nothing.

Everyone comes into the room with their own lived experience, communication skills, intuition, empathy and understanding of people. You will already have strengths that can support you in becoming a practitioner.

The purpose of the training is to help you recognise those strengths, develop the skills you still need, and steadily grow into the confidence to use them.

We have limited spaces available on our next Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

📍 Training takes place at our beautiful base at Sheriff House, Nottingham city centre, making it easily accessible by public transport and from surrounding areas.

The full course fee is £2,249 which includes 10% off the original full course fee.

To secure one of the remaining places, you can pay a deposit of £195, with the remaining balance split across our payment plan.

And yes, I completely understand that £2,249 is a significant investment.

When I enrolled onto my own hypnotherapy training, I remember thinking, “That’s a lot of money.”

But since qualifying, that original investment has paid for itself many times over. Not just financially either. It opened the door to a completely different way of working and helped me turn something I wanted for myself into something real.

I’d always encourage anyone considering hypnotherapy training to do their research. Compare the course content, the level of tutor support, the amount of practical experience you’ll receive, the qualification and what happens after you finish.

We also recognise that most people don’t have £2,249 sitting around waiting to be spent on a course. That’s exactly why we offer the option to spread the cost across four payments.

For many of our students, this isn’t simply about “doing a course”. They’ve been thinking about becoming a therapist for a while. They can picture themselves working with clients, creating something of their own and doing work that genuinely means something to them.

The training is the practical step that begins turning that vision into something tangible.

The 10% discount is available until 20th September. After this date, the course fee returns to £2,499.

Sometimes one decision changes far more than you expect it to.

When I started my hypnotherapy training, I thought I was learning a new skill.

I didn’t realise I was also creating a different way of working, a different relationship with my time, and opening the door to opportunities I couldn’t yet see.

MindWorks Therapy Training didn’t magically create the life I wanted.

It put me on the path towards it.

And looking back now, that path has taken me somewhere I’m genuinely grateful to be. ✨️

Most courses help you understand hypnotherapy. We help you build a future with it.

At MindWorks, the aim isn’t simply to get you through a qualification.

It’s to help you develop the confidence, practical experience and professional support you need to actually use what you’ve learned.

That can mean qualifying as a practitioner, applying to join a professional register, becoming part of the MindWorks Guild of Practitioners, continuing with CPD and supervision, and beginning to build a practice of your own.

This is what happens when you succesfully complete our Practitioners Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

What matters just as much is feeling ready for what comes next.

One of the worries I hear from prospective students is:

“I’ve been out of education for so long… will I be able to keep up?”

And the answer is, you are not expected to arrive knowing everything.

We start with the basics and build from there.

The training is designed to take you through things step by step, in an encouraging and supportive environment where you can ask questions, practise, make mistakes, learn and grow in confidence as you go.

You’re also not left to figure everything out between training weekends.

There are ongoing assessments throughout the course, opportunities for feedback, and support available outside of the teaching weekends too.

For many students, the biggest hurdle is simply believing they can become a learner again.

Our Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy is designed to help you do more than simply learn techniques.

Across the 9-month programme, you’ll develop the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to begin thinking, working and growing like a therapist.

You’ll learn:
✨ Hypnotherapy approaches including suggestion, rapid inductions, deepeners, parts therapy, regression and rewind fast phobia technique and much more...

✨ Psychotherapeutic approaches, including guided imagery and inner child work.
