Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is undertaking a listening exercise on the temporary changes to Eye Casualty services at Queen's Medical Centre (QMC). Feedback from patients, carers, families and local residents will help inform future service planning before any decisions are made about longer-term arrangements.

If you have used Eye Casualty at QMC, cared for someone who has, or may need the service in the future, please consider completing the survey. The listening exercise is open until 30 September 2026.

The survey can be accessed via the link in the comments below πŸ‘‡

πŸŽ— September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month πŸŽ—
Every year, thousands of women are affected by gynaecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, womb, vaginal, and vulval cancers. Yet, awareness, early diagnosis, and open conversations remain far too limited.
This month, let's break the silence. Let’s talk about symptoms. Let’s encourage regular screening.

πŸ’¬ Did you know?
➑️ Early symptoms can be subtle, bloating, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, but early diagnosis saves lives.
➑️ Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers with regular screening and HPV vaccination.
➑️ Awareness leads to action. Action leads to hope.

Whether you're a healthcare professional, a survivor, a loved one, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, your voice matters.
πŸ”— Share resources. πŸ’œ Wear purple. πŸ“£ Start conversations.
Together, we can raise awareness, reduce stigma, and save lives.
