For the last 5 years I’ve organised an event called the Leicester Wellness Festival.. When I booked the first ever venue, chose the date and decided loosely on the plan of how the day would run.. I never dreamt in a million years it would become what it has become…. I didn’t realise it would become an annual event, that happened at the beginning of September and that it would grow and grow and grow…. It was such an easy day to organise the first few years… it got a little more when I had summer and little more when it moved to DMU.. but it’s grown so gradually and I’ve grown with it..!

It’s such a lovely day to hold and my heart bursts at how much everyone else loves it too 🥹

I often come away not fully realising the magnitude of how the day went until the days follow and I get the feedback and the comments and see the photos and videos 🥹❤️ I always come away with things that can be improved on and how it can be better the following year and look forward to putting them in place.. but I also always look forward to the few months at the end of the year where I don’t think about it at all* until the following January 🥰🙈 haha!

It’s such a special thing to watch slowly come together from January - September. But honestly the energy and excitement of others (teachers, stall holders, guests) is what has made this an annual* event… your love and support, for me, has made it what it is 🥹❤️

I will continue to have passion for it and make it happen.. it’s a beautiful circle of energy between myself and everyone involved year after year 🕊️💕🙏🏼
