🍄 I love seeing so many people celebrating mushrooms lately. There’s been lots of dedicated fungi days recently and it's amazing to see so much appreciation for these incredible little things! 🍄

For me, mushroom hunting is like a treasure hunt that never gets old. I get SO giddy whenever I find one and it definitely brings out my inner child. 😁 Add my love of photography into the mix and I can happily spend ages exploring and trying to capture their magic. 📸

I’ve been wanting to learn so much more about fungi over the last year but not had the time to pioritise this. I’m really looking forward to spending some cosy winter days diving into the wonderful world of mushrooms. I’ve got a lot to learn, but that’s part of the fun. 🌿🍂

🍂 A Sunday morning to slow down, switch off and settle into the season. 🍂

The weeks can be busy, the to-do lists never seem to end and before you know it, another week has flown by.

So how about taking a little time just for you? A chance to put the week down, let the stresses and noise melt away and give yourself some space to simple be.

As the days grow shorter and the mornings get a little chillier, there's something lovely about leaning into that cosy, slower pace. No rushing, no doing, no expectations. Just an hour to rest, reset and welcome in the new week feeling a little lighter.

How lucky am I...🌅

Those of you who know me well will know that I’d much rather not get out of bed before 8am. 😄 One of the many perks of self-employment life has been rarely having to endure those half-six mornings since leaving my career in education!

But yesterday was my first full day with no caffeine in quite a long time...I was asleep by 10pm last night, awake at 6:30am this morning and found myself spending an hour on the Chevin watching the sunrise.

It was the most magical, gorgeous way to start the day. 🌞

I felt like I was in The Lion King watching the sun come up against half of Amscliffe Crag!

I’ve definitely seen the magic of these early mornings, although I think it’s time to dig the woolly hat and thermal gloves out!

Maybe there’s something to this early-riser malarkey after all…

Something I’ve been reflecting on since the weekend before last…

Over the weekend, I facilitated 3 sound baths and around 20 people were experiencing their first ever sound bath with ME!

20 people who trusted me enough to come along and try something completely new to them. Something which I am hugely appreciative and proud of! 🙏

It got me thinking about how many people are probably curious about sound baths but have never quite got round to trying one.

So if that’s you, this is your nudge! 😁

You don’t need any experience. You don’t need to know what to expect. And you definitely don’t need to be someone who meditates or does loads of “wellbeing” stuff.

You just come along, get comfy and I’ll take care of the rest.

I'm back at Jamyang next Friday, a place which feels like home...

It’s where I trained in sound therapy and since then I’ve kept finding reasons to come back. I’m there once a month facilitating a sound bath, I volunteer at their wellbeing days and over the next few months I’ll be there helping my dad with his training courses too The Sound Therapy Company.

So although I’m there to do my own thing, it’s become a place that I feel really connected to.
And the hall itself is such a lovely space for a sound bath. It’s actually much bigger than you might realise, there’s room for around 30 people and I’ve now got a lovely little group of regulars who come back time and time again.

But you don't have to have been before, or know anyone there, to come along.

If you’ve been thinking about trying a sound bath for the first time, maybe this is the one ☺️

This morning I had the pleasure of heading to Ella Dewhirst | Menstruality Mentor | Soundbaths | Reflexology beautiful space to facilitate a private sound bath for four lovely ladies.

I’ve actually been wanting to attend one of Ella’s sound baths for months, but somehow the dates have just never aligned… it turns out I was meant to experience her space in a slightly different way first — by facilitating there before receiving. 🥰

As soon as you step through the door, there’s an instant ahhh feeling. It’s such a grounding, thoughtfully created space, filled with beautiful little touches and surrounded by the most gorgeous nature. You can feel how much love and intention has gone into creating it.

And honestly, the whole morning felt like one big moment of synchronicity.

Ella and I met around eight months ago and she trained in sound therapy with my dad.

Then the first woman through the door was Amy from Sacred Sounds, someone I remember following when I was first setting up my business, and who, somehow, I’ve never actually met in person until today. Two years of following each other and finally our paths crossed.

Another of the ladies was also a past student of my dad’s and our fourth lovely attendee brought her own beautiful energy to the morning. It was one of those moments where you realise that somehow, all the right people have found themselves in the same room at exactly the right time. ✨

I was like a kid in a candy shop with all Ella’s instruments! 😁 So yes, there were TWO gongs in the room this morning!!

It was such an honour to be welcomed into Ella’s space and to share sound with such a warm, open group of women. The energy was just beautiful.

Sometimes things don’t happen when you expect them to… because something even more aligned is waiting further down the path. 🪐

Thank you, Ella, for opening up your beautiful space and bringing us all together this morning. I’m so grateful I finally got to experience it — even if I was the one playing the gong first! 🥰 Ella has some beautiful offerings in this space for you gorgeous women.

What a weekend!

Three sound baths and a house move in three days… and somehow she’s still laughing, dancing and singing 😁

Friday night was a beautiful taster session at a new venue in York, followed by two more gorgeous sessions today — one at  and then this afternoon in the most beautiful setting for a little day retreat with  and 🌞 A pleasure as always with some much needed love and connection.

Over the weekend I’ve had the absolute privilege of introducing around 20 people to their first ever sound bath. Bringing more people into the power of sound and seeing them arrive curious, if not a little unsure but surrendering to the magic!

And somehow, in between all of that, I also moved house...📦

I probably should be absolutely knackered, but I’m just bursting with love, gratitude and positivity. I even managed to escape to the forest and sit on top of the moors on my way home.

A massive thank you to everyone who has helped me, supported me, cheered me on from the sidelines and got me through the absolute chaos of the last couple of weeks. You know who you are. 💚

I’m pinching myself today. Life is really ******* good!

What a beautiful, love-filled weekend. 💚🍄🌿

I enjoyed myself so much on Saturday that I completely forgot to take any pictures! So a huge thank you to Alice Faulkner | Outdoor Yoga & Reiki in Leeds for capturing a few of the special moments from our final Sound Bath & Reiki on Otley Chevin for 2026. 🌳

A sold-out session with the most wonderful people. Thank you to each and every one of you who joined me and helped make my last outdoor session of the year so magical. It really is such a privilege to share these moments with you.

As always, it's an absolute pleasure to work alongside Alice and simply spend time in her company. This time, I also had the joy of being joined by a new friend, Karen, Ren- Rei-Qi who feels like my absolute soul twin. ✨ Thank you for making the journey over, finding me the loveliest 30th birthday gift, and taking me out for a fancy Italian dinner, where two hippies with big hearts and probably a little too much woodland energy stuck out like two sore thumbs. 😄🍝

A day filled with laughter, connection, friendship and so much love. As if the day couldn't get any more magical, two of my friends happened to run past during the session on their Saturday morning Chevin run. The sweetest little surprise and such a beautiful reminder of how interconnected life can be. 💫

Then, on Sunday, I had the pleasure of supporting my dad with the first weekend of his sound therapy training course at Jamyang. The Sound Therapy Company The beginning of a new cycle, welcoming a new group of students and looking forward to supporting them through their journey. 🎶

And just before I completely crashed, I managed to squeeze in a little mushroom hunting and some much-needed tree hugging on the Chevin. 🍄🌳

A busy weekend, but one overflowing with joy, connection, nature and love.

Feeling very grateful for the beautiful people, the magical moments and all that life continues to bring. 🙏

What a gorgeous day, as always. It's such an honour and privilege to be part of such a beautiful day surrounded by so many beautiful women.

I’m so grateful for all of the wonderful feedback, the new connections made and for seeing so many familiar faces too. It really is such a special community. 🫶

And of course, I always love spending the day with AND catching up and giggling with Tanya & is always a highlight! 😁💜
